Advance Wars with a Dieselpunk paint job.

Kinda lazy mission design in places, but no more than the games which inspired it. Some of the newly introduced units are somewhat questionably balanced too.

Unit it art is good with each unit clearly differentiated. But the art for the CO's is essentially a rejection of beauty and is frankly difficult to even look at.

Anyway, it scratches the AW itch which is a thumbs up from me.

I'm recommending this because it is still classic Stronghold however if you already have Stronghold HD, just play that instead and save your money. If not, this is the version you should buy.

The new additions are somewhat dubious compared to the original content. This is a marginal improvement over Stronghold HD at best and nothing close to the graphical and UI improvements found in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition that this is leaning on for its namesake.

Great game. Just can't recommend paying £20.99 for all 4-6 hours it takes to complete it.

Easy to pick up, hard to master, great fun.

Has a lot of growing to do and features to implement. But even as it stands it is one of the better colony management games out there. Like Rimworld in 3D.
