So since a lot of other reviews goes more in depth in a way I couldn't really describe, I'll go for a simple one.

This game is fun.

Having no real experience in 4X strategy games, I still picked up the basics fast enough and after a few runs you should know enough to have an enjoyable experience. In however hours I got in while writing this, I still haven't had a successful run but I've been focusing on unlocking characters and thus don't manage my ressources very well yet.

Depending on the characters you pick, you can get storylines involving certain specific ones and discover more of their backstory the more consecutive floor they survive, which I personnaly really like.

So all in all, fun, fairly easy to pick up the basic rules, and quite challenging.

Hand of Fate is quite the interesting game, some visual issues and crashes but rare enough to be ignored since the game itself is so good.

You build your deck with equipment and encounters that will then be used to randomly generate a dungeon. As you suceed with the encounters you unlock more of them, as well as equipment, making you want to see every 'quest line' through.

With the DLC it adds classes, whom also come with their own storylines to even further give you reasons to replay the game and unlock everything.

An interesting mix of Rythm and some RPG elemtns, this game is definitely worth a look. Can get a little grindy if you want to get everything you can in the game, but the tunes are pretty goods so that's not so bad. (plus more hp can't hurt)

Wonderful soundtrack, great story, pretty visuals, and simple yet satisfying gameplay..... just get this already.

A fairly creative platformer, both in story and level themes.
Where else would you visit the mind of a giant fish, or play a strategy game against Napoleon, or uncover a conspiraty related to a milkman?

I've been ask a couple times to compare this game and L4D and tell which one is better, that can't quite be done. Both games are quite different, and this one is perfect if you just want to go and shoot stuff. The "arcade" feel of the waves you need to survive combined with the perk leveling mixes rather well. If you do give this game a chance however, be prepare to give it time before deciding if you like it or not, because you will have a lot of trouble at first, until you learn the different ZEDs and you level up your perk that fits your gameplay.
