How has this NOT won Labor of Love yet? This is THAT game. Sure lots of games have changed since launch, but how many have changed and still have no DLC?

I don't 'love it', but I do like it. The main quest line is slow. Like, no real rush in completing it at all slow. In-fact that seems to be a design choice they made, there are almost no real compelling moments of urgency.
The skill trees are... well not great. Some skills are damn near mandatory (and no one tells you that), and SO many of them don't seem be worth the skill investment.

In all fairness, my I7-7700 / 1080 based system did surprisingly well, and once I moved the install over to a NVME based drive it was largely error free, with some allowances for Bethesda jankyness. Apparently that was an exception to the rule, or I was just playing with appropriate settings for my hardware.

Also it seems to keep track of when the game opens and closes, not actual run time. I have put in maybe 24 hours, not 100+...

Welp, that was a significant series of feels.
Its great. The music is great, the art style it great, the story's are great.
11 out of 10, would openly sob at the closing credits again.

Its somehow a simple, easy to pick up and put down game, and REALLY complex at the same time.

I keep digging graves for myself in the future. 10/10, would recommend this level of pre-planning for almost everything in this game.

Arcade Racer, great sound track, great graphics?
Yeah, so far so good.

Its good.

Is it "The Best we could have hoped for after all those years"? No.
Are very large chunks of it good steps up from EG1? Yep.
Does it have unneeded copy protection crap that making the game unmoddable? Yeah....
Should you buy it when it comes up on sale? Yes.

Its Mass Effect.

But better.

What else do you need?

Yep. It was fun after 5 hours and now at 50 its fantastic.
