Why would you play a precision shooter game with a netcode that doesn't update your crosshair placement in real time?
If you hospital flick in this game, instead of a sick play, it registers your bullets as fired before arriving at your current crosshair location, you would be coping to the next level to be satisfied with that as a standard in competitive fps gaming.

Poor anti-cheat, weird toxic community, and I'm sorry but everything still looks and feels dated despite the update.
The game feels like a weird ancient third party creation, from shop, to physics, to models, to maps.. which isn't surprising considering it's all continuation from an old college kid mod of Half-Life that was too marketable not to find a way to sell back to gamers.

And briefly on that note, the UI for everything relating to the market and how it functions is a disgusting mess.
Make a clean official feeling categorized market and you'll probably profit more.

4/10 Not worth investing your time in at this time.

P.S.
Remember that Shroud was gang criticized and told he was less of a gamer for expressing his feelings about this game, because the community isn't self aware. Nobody would have wanted the game to be a solid reality more, shame on you for coping that hard.

Well then. <3 I'm proud of you.

Outdated:
The developers are too personal about every change they make and it's still disgustingly greedy. Don't agree to have your product sold to people you KNEW were going to lose access to the game, don't cope, face reality.

Don't roll back the quality of weapons after selling them, don't make the railgun useless only to make the same gun again in the form of the quasar cannon, only to nerf it again and pointlessly buff the railgun while it remains in a useless state. It's a mouthful, but it's an example of being stupid, arbitrary, and interrupting the flow of enjoyment because everything is weird and personal to the head developer.

And don't act like you made this game yourself and then ♥♥♥♥ on the team who gave birth to the creation, you're like the song writer in a band pretending you're the whole band, piss off.
Is it wrong to want to be left the hell alone with the toy after it's done being created?
Imagine a father who comes and takes every toy from their kid and breaks a limb off and then gives it back, because he doesn't like the amount of pleasure being received, even though it was never a competition.

THAT IS YOU, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.
It's a PvE video game, see that the childish behavior stops. :3

With that said.

It's a good game, solid 7/10 objective based team wave shooter. Fun sense of dynamically changing galaxy. Just don't get attached to enjoying any specific element of the game as it may change for arbitrary, stupid, personal reasons. Nothing was ever severely overtuned, so don't get the wrong idea, some players are very biased in favor of broken things they enjoy, nothing was ever that strong at any point thus far. But the railgun is a fat roleplay tool, like the marksman rifles, pick them if you want to feel cool, followed by immediately feeling stupid that you brought jokes along for your mission. Game's honestly really repetitive, which can be a good thing if you find comfort in familiarity.

OUTDATED:
Season Recap!
Previously on Corporate Greed:

No, you're not getting away with anymore than you have so far.

You really think you're royalty, betraying your fellow developers and co-workers just because money started coming in. Then the money and power hungry balance changes.. In a PvE video game, people paid you to have fun, but you have some kind of twisted ego, so you sell battle pass things with pay to win weaponry, then you nerf it, after they pay. It's a real circus, but the PSN thing isn't sliding.

See you never, trash company. You should feel sick when you look in the mirror, knowing... you had the players, you had the game, and you just couldn't let them exist in peace, you're pathetic.

It's so good, honestly. The easiest title to get into, it has non-intrusive educational tools and the game eases you into whatever character you want. The OST is insane as always and they went ahead and included the OST of every single title with this one, all usable as you please. Crazy honestly. Game's fast and impact is high, great time~!!

You guys need to stop review bombing this game.

It has 0 pay to win and is a MUCH better than any indie deck builder ever made. It's multiplayer MMORPG style and that usually means it's trash if it's free, but it's not.

In fact, there's zero things to complain about, the music is awesome, there's tons of classes, it's FREE, it's MULTIPLAYER, it's BETTER THAN WHAT IS AVAILABLE AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME.

I see some of you who got 250 hours of gameplay sit there and thumbs down because there wasn't more, YET. Holy moly, y'all are actually NUTS, and so is this game, EARLY ACCESS BTW???

Wake up, try it. Made me enjoy SRPG and Deckbuilder genre again when they both felt dead. OST SO GOOD AND DIVERSE.
10/10, literally get a grip objectively spoiled trashcans who'd disagree.

Once you get adapted to the controls, it's actually really fun.
The OST and trauma setting really sell the experience.
The combat sequences have a Hotline Miami trial and error to perfection feeling, it's pretty rewarding to succeed and annoying to fail.

I miss love and peace.

EDIT: Went back and checked out the legacy mode, PLEASE, DEVS, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm pleading with you, WE'RE pleading with you, at least clean up the legacy islands and bring them with us into the new patches, let us have the cleaned up game with the old play style if we want to. x_x;; It's too fascinating, but I would clean up the incoherency of mob generation just a lil bit if you did go this route. Don't break our hearts~ ;_;

This IS a good game, even right this moment despite the cooking that needs to be and is being done. I want to say 8/10, but that's assuming what's here now were pretty spotless, which it isn't.

To become the best:
Optimize the jank, get random procedural factors back in the game as at least a game mode or major addition to the seamless map such as random (specific to these procedural area) biomes entered through portals (This portals idea is an absolutely amazing compromise!! Please?!), fix the slight quirks with the weapon hitboxes, and I guarantee as much as I guarantee this is a run on sentence that you will have THE best crafting game ever made with an easy 10/10. Developers, I believe in you.

Well, this is the most reasonable, adorable, and content rich fighting game release in the modern era. The music's good, the roster is amazing, the in-game information is sincere and clean. As far as controls they are very clean feeling, you've got classic/modern bled together by design to favor your current paradigm, diverse play styles, and I'm pretty sure anyone could pick this one up over the course of just a couple days.

My biggest complaints are, deluxe edition isn't purchasable if you have standard edition and the main lobbies don't have cabinets that let you cycle out loser to keep a standard for playing with groups flowing cleanly.

This is an incredibly well tuned, well tested, high precision metroidvania with incredible boss fights.
The soundtrack is amazing, and if you've played a lot of games and are wary about too much similarity to a lot of experiences you've had in the past, I can assure you, it's going to surprise you.

I recommend playing the hardest difficulty available from the start, it will HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to explore your approach to combat until you adapt to using all of the mechanics available.

Game keeps giving at only 4 hours, I can tell there is an INCREDIBLE journey ahead. The story is fine, the characters are fine, it has voice acting, the visuals are absolutely fantastic~

10/10 until I find something that isn't astonishingly high quality, will update if there's anything that makes it not worth the price~ Which totally isn't going to happen. Can't believe how nice this is day 1. x_x;;;;
