INCREDIBELY ADDICTIVE! A fun, simple easy to play and even easier to get addicted to - beat 'em up game.


At full price this game is a steal. At the current sale price you'd be an idiot not to pick this up.

Great re-incarnation of a great game.

If you played through the other Dark Souls games and enjoyed them then you will surely love this too.

Updated graphics, new enemy placements, new secrets, new items and item placement, new NPC's and invaders, higher caps on max summons - all of this comes together to turn what was already a great game into an incredibely polished and gratifying gaming experience. Although the map hasn't changed from the original DS2 I put hundreds of hours into, it all feels fresh and new and cannot be breezed through just by being familiar with the original.

The lore has been given new depth and while I haven't had a chance to get through all of it yet I don't expect any less than the top quality content FromSoft is known for.

If you have never played DS2 and are looking to start, there is no reason not to buy this game over the original.

If you have played DS2 but not the DLC's and are looking to get them, there is no reason not to upgrade to this.

If you already own DS2 and the DLC's then there is still no reason not to upgrade to this, it is an all around more polished version of the original game with improvments to elements of it that were previously lacking.


I feel like this game has had far too many bad reviews that were thoroughly unjust and I hope this review helps you make an informed decision.

There are far too many people that are just butthurt about having to pay for what they percieve to be a re-boxed version of a game they already own. Not only is price irrelevant to how good a game is - but SotFS is so much more than a mere re-release of DS2.

Began eating beans until my stomach was full, ate more beans, died.
