Now's your chance to be a big shot! Be a big, be a big-

NOW GET SHOT!

Great game. A lot of holding my breath under tense moments. There are ways to use the items you get to your advantage but there are those moments were you have to make a gamble. You will curse and praise your luck.

The music is stellar and I'm going to get the vinyl for my collection.

I also love the gritty art style this game has. It all feels so hopeless and you the player are trying to find that hope through gambling your life as a buy-in.

All that's left is to see where this game goes. As of writing this, there's multiplayer on the way.

STEAM TRADING CARD DISCOUNT BOUGHT.

A charming trivia game with a great sense of humor; sometimes a little dark humor here and there which is welcomed. The questions asked involve movies, shows, video games, history, and general knowledge. Each character scenario is unique to their own dilemma that will result in a trivia. After you finish answering 9 questions, a roulette will pop up using the results of your trivia. Don't worry about getting too many questions wrong; the roulette is more merciful than it may appear (at least that's how it was to me). Sometimes the roulette will do a little trolling, however, just to have fun.

If you want to prioritize some questions over others, such as wanting more video game trivia and not history, you can go to the options and change them there.

The individual stories are not always unique to themselves. Sometimes, a character's story will carry on whether you succeed or fail, and sometimes, if you succeed or fail in one, another story line may appear.

One of my favorite aspects of this game is actually the stories and how they link together. On my second play-through (because I was achievement hunting), I noticed subtle differences in the settings and plots the characters endured.

For example (SPOILERS FOR ONE STORY BUT IT'S NOT EARTH SHATTERING), a character, Woolie, wants to make videos while playing video games. If you succeed in that plot, Woolie has another dilema: his content is getting stale. NOW, lets go to another plot, where Xiang is on a game show attempting to win big money. IF you failed the second Woolie story line, the show host for Xiang is just a regular show host. HOWEVER, if you succeed in Woolie's second dilema, Woolie becomes the showhost for Xiang. The attention to detail is very well done for a trivia game.

One great thing that has to be mentioned is that this game's trivia is not stuck in 2017, when the game was published. It is updated to modern day and has questions relevant to today as well. There was not one question that was repeated in my near 4 hour time playing the game.

Overall a fun game with an enjoyable premise and gimmick.

ONE MORE SPOILER! You can date the witch and get a noice yiri scene. But first, you need to find out who...

Just got one ending and plan to 100% the rest after this posting.

This is Incisor Studio's first game, and Fostering Apocalypse is a great footnote to start. This short story of a somewhat intractable visual novel has a sweet charm within a post apocalyptic setting. The characters feel real with their interactions. Even with the choices I made, they felt like it would be something the main character would do.

I PRAY FOR THE END TO COME! And what I mean is, I want to see the end of this story. This Fostering Apocalypse may be their tech-demo with a dollar sign but it was worth the price (not arguing about when to buy it).

The game successfully made me fall in love with these two characters within less than an hour of gameplay. Unlike the characters, who I made sure they got a full stomach when they were hungry, I am starving for more Fostering Apocalypse...

...and what Incisor Studios can produce next. Let's see what you've got.

Words of advice:

Play on hard if you want a challenging experience on your first go.

Bind E to both interact and taunt; every time you open a door or use an elevator, you get a kick-ass one liner.

Damn all who pray to the Plague God; be weary of those damn plague toads.

My right index finger hurts from holding the right trigger to charge more than half of the time.

Would recommend finger pains.

Super Animal Royale is charming battle royale game that doesn't take itself seriously. The artstyle is unique that makes it stand out from the rest, the ability to choose an animal to your liking (providing you have the level and DNA), and you can dress up animals in a wide range of outfits.

But that's not the best part. The gameplay is simple, yet does have its own complex way of playing, but still inviting to newer players. The wide range of weapons allows for all types of ways to fight others. There are also custom gamemodes the devs add to SAR temporarily and give the game a new spin of fun.

There is the SAR shop that uses tickets in exchange for real money but that does not give an edge to any player. No pay to win here. There are also season passes that can be accessed at any time, provided you have the SAR tickets to gain access. Sure, the game does wave fancy cosmetics in your face. But it does not force you to indulge in animal dressup.

This game has been in early access for a few years and I am proud of the team for their love and care for their game and community. As of writing this, my vote for the Steam Player's Choice 2021 "Better with Friends" goes to SAR.

For as short as it is, it holds a good challenge for anyone willing to learn their button layout for their inputs. The premise is simple: shoot the colored shapes with the appropriate color. The shooting shape in the center rotates at a standard rate, but the speed is fair when it comes to aiming at oncoming shapes.

If you have an X-Box controller, then you will instantly know what button shoots what. The first few levels are more or less tutorial levels. As you progress to 4 and beyond, it becomes more of a challenge as the colors change more rapidly. Getting achievements are not difficult as long as you are willing to work rapidly and remember what button shoots what.

My only gripe is that the background pulsates, shakes, and turns, hurting my eyes. Sure, there is a warning at the start of the game. That doesn't mean I cannot complain about it.

If you want to get those high-scores for a cheep price, I would give this one a look.
