The game is honestly unbelievably good. I usually despise the way these games operate, but this one is special. The game is worth every penny. You will get MANY hours worth of content out of this game and then mods send it into the stratosphere. Every playthrough will be different and you will find yourself having a strange emotional attachment to your characters after hundreds of hours with them.. only to see them get blown apart by a random raid and their lives ending in misery

A challenging gem gaming, this sequel to the original Half-Life mod Natural Selecton brings loads of new content and a new game engine to dive into. The aliens and marines are very well-balanced in this command-based first-person shooter strategy game, pitting two polar opposites against one another with the simple goal in mind of destroying the other's base. Seems simple, and it is. However, it is loads of fun as working with teammates to achieve a goal feels very fulfilling and at the same time electrifying in intensity.

If you are into combat, there is a combat mode as there was in Natural Selection 1. In that mode, one can level up his or her character while unlocking all the features you get to unlock in the default mode. Exhilarating and also a breath of fresh air from the standard game mode.

Get this game. It is heaps of fun and worth the money. Get it when it's on sale and it will be even more worth the cash!!

Pitiful excuse for a mod. Bunch of bad music and poor storyline coupled with overdone models, poor Barnacle reuse (with the Nihilanth as a reskin) and failure boss mechanic makes this deserve a 3 out of 10. There was not much proof-reading to be seen with the mod either, as the mod is riddled with spelling errors and bad English. Where are the proof-readers for this mod? Beta testers? Not much going on here. Sound effects are dull for the most part (save the original Half-Life HD sounds and textures for weapons -- compliments of Blue Shift), and the game will appear to be completed in a very short time span. You will find yourself hoping that the credits at the end are not the credits at the end.

Guess what -- they are the credits.
Avoid this crap.
