Played extensively (28 hours) to thoroughly examine the game before reviewing. Overall aesthetics and controls feel good when they work and curses add interesting twists. I know it's early access but at the very least in an early access game the basic controls ie; left, right, up, and down, should work. They don't break all the time but enough to get you killed and frustrated.

The control's input lag sometimes doesn't allow you to turn so you are unable to attack the correct way, and that is how you stun enemies, so unexpected failure to turn and to stun leads to extra damage. Damage removes a portion of your max health unless you get one of several rare items to allow it. This means any inability to turn, such at to attack or fire your spells the right way, will just chip you down until you have 20 out of 100 max HP and get one shot.

Will recommend this game once the basic control issue is fixed. Until then, even in an early access title, can't recommend this degree of input issues.

A spirit cat told me, a child, to murder things so I did. Then later the cat told me "It's probably okay to stop..." by then it was too late, I was now the cat and murder was inescapable. All is ruin....

Too many characters to choose from, so little time. Can beat the game in 10 min or 30 and still have the same amount of fun. Really funny descriptions, tutorial, and instructions. The coop function is just icing on the cake for doing crazy shenanigans with your friends. Would recommend to anyone that enjoys a roguelike with lots of character options. Only going to get better with more options and customizations!

The only downside is there isn't more game to play T_T. The controls are crips and solid. Some of the guns are significantly stronger than the others. The items allow for some pretty interesting builds. Would recommend if you enjoy shooter roguelikes with dash/manuevering mechanics.

Great Metroidvania with Darksoulesque features and crisp controls. Intriguing story line that definitely didn't confuse me or leave me asking questions, and I totally understood it. Great play customization with the use of the charms mechanics that allows for multiple strategies and "builds"? If you like solid controls and interesting bosses/enemies I'd highly recommend.

Excellent puzzle mechanics with responsive controls. If you like puzzle solving and fish killing it's worth checking out.

I shot things and then died, horribly. Would recommend if you like bullet hells where you need to use your skill to dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge. Fun roguelike elements that allow you to get a lit as hell run, then immediately throw it like it's on fire.

Do you like card games? Do you like top decking lethal, drawing your whole deck and killing the enemy with a nasty combo? Do you like roguelikes with a customizable "account" similar to Rogue Legacy? Then this game may be for you! Multiple starter "decks" like Rogue/Mage/Barbarian all with their own unique abilities and decks that adapt during the run.

Excellent game for competing with your friends for High Scores or just having fun shooting things in the face.

Controls: Solid, aiming is crisp and responsive and hit detection is top notch. Getting the right angle on enemies can be annoying but that's part of the strategy.

Story: You're a cowboy and they're bad guys, pew pew pew pew pew pew pew

Mechanics: Excellent rogue like mechanics that allow you to create a build based on the cards you choose each time you complete a wave. Each playthrough can lead to many different strategies based on the cards picked. Very fun to create strong builds.

Closing: Game could use more levels/Enemy types but what game isn't better with more? It was very fun to play and at 5 dollars, it's a steal. If you like competing with your friends for high scores, even better.
