good

It's refreshing to play a game in the genre that isn't just "Stardew Valley, but worse". Kynseed has done an excellent job carving out it's own niche, while still keeping that "okay, just one more in-game day" quality that makes farm/life-sim games so addictive.

Here is a quick spoiler-free list of things I really like:

• Gameplay loop hooks you quickly, and new mechanics/systems are drip-fed at a thoughtful pace
  
• UI is very responsive. Things feel snappy, and the corresponding SFX make simple interactions very satisfying
  
• Game is packed with charm (the dialogue, the music, the side activities)
  
• Side activities are abundant, and very well-designed. Nothing feels like an afterthought just thrown without care, and there is plenty to keep you busy
  
• Game has unique mechanics that differentiate this game from others in the genre (there are more in-depth reviews that elaborate on this)
  
• Interesting combat mechanics (like a lite version of Mega Man Battle Network)
  
• Post-game/endgame sounds unique and robust (in theory, anyway - haven't made it there yet)

Worth a buy at full price.

Update: 17+ hours in, still an easy recommendation. My biggest complaint is that there are quests/tasks that can easily be missed during the prologue. During the first 14 days of the game, pay close attention to your mailbox, and ignore any "generic" requests from the bulletin board (e.g. "cook me a stew") - once the prologue is over, you'll have plenty of time to do those things.

If you like card battlers, this game is a must buy. If you like unique single player games, also worth a look.

This game is still very raw, and is lacking in content compared to other survival craft games.

Wait until at least 2023 and it might be worth a buy then.
