A fantastic RPG rich in story and content. A far cry from the DLC loot box era of most games today.

Whilst the game on my inital impressions looks fun at it's current state it is unplayable due to poor optimizations

Pros:
- Voice acting seems nice
- Story seems engaging
- Looks beautiful with nice partical effects
- Combat is really fun and button mashing feels great
- cool collectables and costumes

Cons:
- Horrendous optimization which include:
- Random FPS dips making the gameplay and general flow of the action terrible and removes immersion
- The game by default is capped at 30 fps (this can be changed in an ini file). Anything above said fps leads to stability issues and 30 fps is just unacceptable
- SLI & Crossfire scaling is not , at present, where it needs to be, rendering some secondary cards useless
- The batmobile is used a bit to much for my liking, It is pushed abit to much but some people may enjoy more than me.

The crux of this me not recommending this game is due to poor optimization . The consensus in the gaming community is that even on the highest end of systems (gtx titans) this game is running at unacceptable framerates . It makes more sense as to why this game was soo cheap on certain websites and that review codes for the pc version where not made widely available. Rocksteady outsourced the pc development to another company and this has resulted in a bad version of the game making it to store. They have aknowledged this and are said to be working on this and hopefully will result in better performance down the line.

Patches resulting in better performance in time is par-for-the-course in pc gaming and should be accepted that things will get better as driver support improves and the game is patch but, it is not acceptable to launch a game in this state and expect people not be angry. That is why i will, at this time, not recommend this game, Wait a while for performance improvments or buy it on console.

Coming from a developer that have a great pedigree in the FPS genre with games such as Wolfestein : enemy terrirory doom and quake i was expecting a good all round fps and in the short time i have spent with this game I can recommened it as a fun, refreshing and competent addition to that genre. Play it if you enjoy team based fps' !
