This is a masterpiece of a game, for a one man developer team, and it being free. You can't ask for more. Great demonstration of how to make a functional voxel game. If more content and upgrades to this game, it has unlimited potential.

One of my favorite games of all time.
Beautiful scenery.
Controls are just great, I like the double jump ability, and able to shoot arrows in the air. One thing we cant do is blink/roll in the air, which I would suggest adding.
Gamplay is so addictive, keeps us wanting to build and collect items for upgrades.
Crafting menu is very deep (feels like 1000 different crafting materials).
Crafting system is very fair and balance so it doesn't feel like a grind.
The building system is great, so many shapes to choose from and so many block varieties.
Enemies are good, however they could be a little bit glitchy, comes at you too fast, or most times easy.

A great game to come in collect some items, enjoy the scenery and relax to.

One of the best farming game. its a combination of Timber and Stone and Going Medieval.

First game my settlers died, once I figured out how to keep them alive it was so addictive lol

This game is such a great game. I wish many developers take note of this game and learn from them.

The game starts you off slowly and, have some chickens, make some eggs, sell them.
Collect grass, sell them, chop some wood sell them or stay warm for winter. Save up for food.
Plenty of NPC that gives you missions and rewards, make enough buy female pig, have pigglets. fatten them up enough to sell for higher price.
Buy seeds. Scythe, dig, hoe, plant your seeds. Grow many variety crops even trees. Use for animal feeds, sell, or cook with them.
Trap animals and sell their skin for high price. Repeat til you upgrade your equipent, get married and so they can help with repetitive tasks.

Great game! The graphics and game play doesn't feel like 2022 game, but its simple feels just like the 2000 game that I love. campaign is fun, challenging but not impossible.

I could say Warband 1 was my favorite game of all time. I was so hooked and obsessed with Warband 1
Bannerlord is a Warband 1 with a bit better graphics but much less content. Wish i could give a good review but just too disappointed.

There were many features from warband 1 that got dropped in Bannerlord. ie:
They removed companion gears
The number of companions are now limited
The number of workshop property you can buy are now limited
The map movement is very annoying that it zooms back to the character every time clicked
They removed upgradable villages
The towns are just pointless to visit now.
There are just a ton more features that were removed from Warband 1

At first I was not impressed with this game if I were to compared it to Starcraft 2, specifically the AI. But the more you play it you get a different feel for the game, something that is unique to the AOE franchise, which is very fun in its own way.

I would like to know if the developer has actually played the original SimFarm by Maxis in 1993?
It was a simple game yet very fun game. I don't think it would be extremely difficult to program some of the SimFarm features in.
The graphics and some of the UI is very similar to SimFarm, but functionality of this game is missing so many things.

First off, why does it completely halts, or destroy field if you interupt worker? Can't you have it idle, and restart progress when needed? Queue in different work would be good too. Some more warning should be in place as to why a crop will start over if you decide to grow new crop. But halting worker should not be a good reason for crop field to be destroyed. In real life, you can simply switch workers. The game should represent as close to reality as you can have it.

There is no management of each single cow? Telling each age/gender/price.

Started with 500 bread, 700 fish. Have 9 workers. 1 laborer, 1 lumbjack, the rest (7) in food production: fishing, hunting, herder; yet everyone starving to death still. How the f? The mechanics of food consumption makes no sense, why do they eat so much? It's hard in a stupid way. I restarted my town like 6 times already, each time die by something else, which this part is interesting, but when things doesn't make sense, and no guidance in the game (no useful toolbars, tips, interface to warn you). You end up having to create from scratch everytime everyone dies.

Some improvement in the mechanics would help the game.

Best Game Ever. Well to be honest, it was one of my favourite ever. The gameplay makes you just want to play more and more. I can't wait until warband 2 comes out. Here was my summary experience:
-Start off with nothing
-Walk around and bandits beat me up
-Hire villagers to fight alongside with me
-Beat up bandits
-Army cost too much money, have to find ways to gain money
-Found out that you can buy/sell/trade/own properties to make enough money for army
-Fought for a King as a Lord
-Got beat up by other nation's Lord
-Got richer, beat up their lords, take over their castle
-Found out that I can become King myself.
-Marry a wife
-Become King and got beat up
-Found out I have to increase my nobility and started beating everyone up.
