As of writing, the servers have been experiencing outages for about a week. This has become a much more frequent occurrence in the last few years. If the servers go down while you are in-game, you still receive a ban for leaving. Additionally, updates have lately been "change for the sake of change", with sometimes bizarre justifications from the dev team.

Unless Ubisoft takes a serious stance about improving the technical issues of the game, and provides a vision for the future in terms of what gameplay changes are needed/not needed, I do not think it is worthwhile to get invested in the game.

Very fun game, very difficult.
