I remember playing the Demo for this game and being excited for it. My "hype" was definitely satisfied by this game. Holy cow, is it good. I'm a big Doom Eternal fan and I was hoping this game would be somewhat similar, and it is, in all the right ways too. The music is awesome, the weapons are really neat and fun to play around with, and there's a lot of synergy to be found while using the weapons and sigils. Doom Eternal has part of it's popularity from quick switching. Quick switching is when you switch from one weapon to another very quickly so that the gun's reload animation is canceled. This game doesn't quite include quick switching, but a lot of the weapons are fast enough that it almost feels like your quick switching, which I really really like.

The one complaint I have about it is, it's really short. You can complete the campaign in 4ish hours. The ending of the game really eludes to a second game or a DLC, (my hope is for a DLC, I don't want to spend 25 bucks again haha) but we'll see what happens.

The first typing game that Fishing Cactus did was much, much better than this game. I remember playing Epistory when I was 14-15 years old when I was just barely getting a quicker typing speed. I have an average typing speed of around 96-100 words per minute nowadays, so when I saw this game in my inventory, I was excited to play it. Some of the words that you type in this game are ones that I've never heard before, which I appreciate, but I wish there were more words to use to damage enemies. I've probably typed the word "gun" and "err" 20 times each and I didn't finish the game. After a while of this it gets very repetitive.

This game is also pretty buggy. Within the game you can make ice bridges to cross tiny streams, but it seems like half of the time that I do, I'll get stuck in one spot for a moment. There's a quest where you have to find a bunch of flowers for a cave creature, but even though I found all the flowers and went back to talk to the cave creature (I can't remember it's name, sorry) it seemed to never finish the quest. I googled my problem and it seems like other people have had the same problem in the past.

I wouldn't recommend this game. If you haven't already played Epistory, I would very very much recommend that one.

This is possibly my favorite local multiplayer game. I love the idea of taking charactars from other video games or T.V. shows and then integrating them inside the game. 9.9/10. Can we have an update?
