This is pleasantly addictive. A bit of annoying busy work here and there, but quite satisfying and fun.

Pretty decent, I have fun now and then. Really simplified the commander experience, which is quite relaxing.
I just HATE research. Research is such crappy annoying slow lame nonsense. But. Besides that I enjoy the game.

A lovely vertical city logistics builder!

Way too short for the price it charges.

But quite fun for those 3 hours, with a pretty awesome short story.

Receive the Emperor's dying edict.
Gain control of some poor clone's body.
Commit multiple assassinations with only one starfighter and a loose band of loyalists.
Retool an entire dreadnought with world burner missiles.
Successfully genocide 99% of the Capital Planet's population.
"Uprising Quelled".
Connection Terminated.

Content ran out quickly ( 3 hours! ) but it was quite the experience. Really wish there was. But the game certainly didn't outstay it's welcome. Got it on 70% off.

A very pretty and atmospheric remake that well recalls the depths of Citadel Station, I love the wonder of exploring it. Lovely sound track, great visual art style, ( wow I want more retro-pixel games! Looks great. ), quality voice acting, and neat interpretations of the source material.

But what really really disappoints and annoys me, is combat. It's so underwhelming when an opponent just slumps to the floor with a weak ragdoll after getting blasted by a shotgun. It's so underwhelming when almost nothing breaks or gets damaged. It's very dissapointing, when killing the CORTEX REAVER, doesn't end with a shower of sparks and shattered steel, fire and machine screaming. Instead it ends with a clean model slumping down into a nice little nap, in a pretty clean room. Not a damn BATTLE that traded blows with explosives, high energy weapons, and machine guns. No SCORCHES, no DENTS, no bullet holes.

I really really hope they improve the feel and look of combat. Because I love this game otherwise.

That was awesome.

Quite fun, but very very short. I beat it's "hard mode" in about two hours. Would love to see this turned into something more, the chaos kicked up by even these few rather hilarious and entertaining rules shows there's a lot of potential in an expanded version. Different scenarios with different rule sets, etc, would be great.

I love this game, HUGELY.

Oh man, what a journey this game has been. From being a total unskilled noobie struggling on early climbs, to doing speedruns of the things without any "checkpoints". Struggling on The Boulders, and then doing them in under 2 minutes. Only to be confrunted by the great titans. Utterly fantastic.
( Hey Dev, I love what you did with the Boulders. You're right, that was a powerful skill builder! )
