If "Understandable, have a nice day" was a game, this would be it.

So...
The game hitches a lot on initial load.
And the content level seems to be exceptionally shallow rn.
I mean either something bugged out, or there's literally just 3 missions that repeat ad nauseam.

Guns feel good.
Tension's there.
It's like a polished pre-alpha content-wise it feels, a proof of concept, but what I'm seeing here looks good assuming they actually keep working at it.
I'd get it, play for a bit, then once you get bored, come back to it in like a year and see what's new.

I went in expecting something like the old Empires mod or the ol' Red Alert APB, except in an open world and with a tech tree, and I got Rust at home.
Which, I don't even like Rust...

Vanilla is, frankly, trash.
Here's how to turn this into basically a playable version of a merc run in BattleTech Campaign Operations:
- Install YAML
- Install YAML-compatible mods for more mechs and weapons
- Get 1-3 friends
- Ignore Campaign
- Play co-op career while drinking copious amounts of alcohol.

Oh, and, lastly, the company that made this is more or less directly responsible for deaths of MechWarrior Living Legends and MechWarrior 4 Mercenaries MekTek, so, make of that what you will.

So I do not recommend you purchase this, or give them any money at all, but I somehow doubt anyone's going to listen to my bitter grumbling.

Finding out the enemy has reinforcements of a fresh all-medium mech lance mid-mission while you're already more like 3.25 mechs due to damage is fair and balanced.
I hate this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. 10/10 accurate Merc Pain SImulator.
