Overall, this is a decent campaign VR title - which we need more of. The gunplay is pretty good. The core controls are pretty good. Weapon switching feels nice and does not feel super jank most of the time.

There are a lot of "stand around" moments where you do nothing and are locked in position. This is pretty annoying and immersion breaking. Climbing is probably my biggest annoyance in this game. There is a climbing level that is just jank all around.

Have not played multiplayer, single player good. Would recommend this for around $20-$30.

Poor ultra wide support to the point of it being unplayable. If you use Flawless widescreen you can run the FOV up to 150 easily, but then the game has horrible pop-in of objects.

Leaving you with the following choices: Horrible small FOV where everything is zoomed in.

or

Objects appear 15ft in front of you, including mimics, and entire rooms.

Overall, this game is great. The main game has some issues with AI / Stealth mechanics. Combat is extremely unforgiving sometimes on hardest difficulty as you can just get stun locked into death.

The 3 DLCs are all hand crafted worlds (as far as I can tell) compared to the main game which is generated.

First off, the settings are horrible. You can hardly adjust your controls settings. There are no audio controls to be found. The "puzzles" rely on very unreliable physics objects. You're not taught any of this - just dropped in. This would not be a problem, except there isn't even an instruction on how to pick stuff up, or throw. Also no FOV slider, and the default is not great. The visual style is cute, but the animations are jerky, and unsatisfying to watch.

Once you are aware of what controls you have, there isn't anything that really feels "good" about the game. You play hide and seek with the neighbor, but then he'll get stuck on something stupid so you have to get him unstuck just so you can bait him somewhere else so you can progress.

This game could be very fun for some people, but it was not enjoyable for myself.

Fast pace, shooter. Makes you feel like you're back playing DOOM on your beige box.

Crashes constantly. Cutscenes don't work. Very bad clipping. Had to use cheats to move forward in the game. Refunded.
Do not purchase this game.

Game is not beatable at carrer 1-4 due to the wheel not move down the slightly slanted ramp. Even with verified correct solution it just does not work.

I was a long time Snag-It user. When this popped up on Reddit a while ago, I instantly grabbed it. It's amazing. Perfect sharing settings. Easy capture as well. The GreenShot edit leaves a decent amount to be desired in the ways of annotation, but it does it's job well enough to be usable.

Screen recording, while not exactly perfect for uploading to youtube, it's amazing to do a quick share to show a friend. GIF recording is perfect for every use that I can think of.

Love this software.

I'll put my TL:DR first. This is a great game with a very interesting, fresh, story. Don't go in expecting and amazing combat system, but it'll do for this game. Constantly got chills down my spine. Come for the world and story, stay for punching and kicking faces into the ground.

Okay, so more details...
What this game does well (IMO):
It tells a great, compelling story that you can very easily get engrossed in for about 9 hours of single player, story mode game play. This is a hand-to-hand focused combat game. There is a ranged weapon that is also a game mechanic.

The game play is good. The game does a very good job at making you feel like a bad ass when you're fighting 7v1. The targeting is basically automatic, yet you feel like you have control over who you want to hit. Then you go and punch their face into the ground.

This game has good visuals. When I say visuals I mean the graphics and aesthetic. The graphics in the game are pretty good. There are complex scenes that seem vast and large. They look amazing the entire time. Does not even bog down my computer for what seems like entire cities being rendered. At no time did I feel they skimped on the visuals, except at times when you'd get close to a player texture. The quality is good, but not "oh my god, this is fantastic."

The aesthetic (different the graphics) is very good. They keep to the same style through out the entire game. You visit a few places, and they seem to be done very well. They are engaging and full of life at all times. The art team did very well here.

What the game does wrong. There are a few things that the game does wrong. The number one thing for me is: THE CAMERA MOVEMENT IN THIS GAME IS SO CRAPPY IT BREAKS IMMERSION. Seriously, it's hard to look up and see what you want to see. Let alone see what the art team has created for you to explore. Most of the time I found myself looking at the ground.

Due to the bad camera, movement at times can be tricky. This leads to some bad deaths, or just getting frustrated at the game.

Some of this game is scaling walls / parkor?. The system for this is meh at best. You don't ever do it in combat, so it's not like you're getting angry at it a lot.

Overall
I really enjoyed this game. Multiple times during the story I got chills down my spine. The story drags you in, and keeps you there. As long as the bad camera does not drag you out of the story, you can be sure that you'll enjoy this enriching, vast, world as you punch and kick faces into the pavement!
