Kirito is the most 3-Dimensional character in all of fiction, he has the biggest character development of all time and he's an easy to relate to character with an interesting set of flaws and aesthetic design. His personality is original and his motives are believable, his accomplishments are realistic and the story would be nothing without him. The relationships he builds on his journey feel authentic and organic and the pacing of his growth is unrivaled in all of literature. He is the perfect role model for how you should write your main characters and everyone can learn from it.
