Deus ex machina(God from the machine), takes on a new meaning here. So are humans completely independent from machines, or are they in truth the new masters. I believe the evolution of tools have made fools of us all, could it be that convenience have turned us to reliance and slavery.

Here fresh coats of seductive sparkling metallic beauty is intertwined with Mercury-like speed or as other people would call it the exotic sports car. Which ever pleases you and what thou wilt. The graphics are assured and crystal clear, the rendering is above standards and well done. Something to mention is the very sub-conscious and fantasy-like quality, the roads are simply impossible to forget and such a pleasure to wander and be lost. Especially when travelling through midnight tunnels, snow capped peaks and the long stretches of dreamy, wispy, red sandy desert roads. Places some might pass in their minds searching for their deepest desires or for that matter fears. Side by side, and buried in the oceans of sand and pixels.

The "pursuit" of this game is to master the challenging road and also everyone's nemesis, Time itself, as in hundreths thousands of a second. The beauty of precision and passion is woven in the play. Part of the relationship with the machines in the game are the quite ecstasy and the feel of rushing driven power of unstoppable force and graceful motion. The beauty is always and forever in the experience whether in full angelic flight or the doomed agony and arrogrance of Icarus-like fall and failure. Crashing and shattering in the speeds of the milli-seconds is something terrifying and strangely wonderous, an emphatic freedom unleashed from swift destruction.

Thinking back in reflection, the odd bit about this game is that the parts are actually stronger than the whole. Or the set pieces do not connect well as a story, this game was rushed during production or the fundamental problems were not corrected to a satisfying conclusion. However the twelve parts that make-up this game are finely made. I will not recommend this game to the casual gamer(cod, counter-strike types), however all, but except the connoisseur of the sneak and hide genre. Like they say the devil is in the details, and if you are to find success, it's best to pay attention to the details or else you will be mired in frustration. This is where the Angels fear to thread. :)

There is a saying that -the journey matters more the finishline and this piece embodies that very idea. Getting there or the state of arriving is always much more exciting than the catch. Splinter Cell sets this game in a charming cool thick-blooded scene after deadly scene, guartineening late hours of cold sweat in intense play. However good it is, like many other games it has flaws mainly with some of badly made single player campaigns that rarely require use of stealth and cunningness. However when the need for stealth and sneaking comes into play it is a thing to behold. Moreover the real attention and focus should be on the co-op missions and the early sp missions as I permanently will never see a lamp-post, light bulbs ever the same again. For that matter hallways, corridors and lonely empty rooms, where death can make a friend of. Making it through the mazes of offices and warehouses is an achievement and sometimes even an epic, never has ten yards mean so much. 99% of the game is played in elegant stark contrasts of blacks and whites, very little colours involved once the lights are shot out. Nothing about this game escapes the "daggers of the mind" if you catch my meaning and the palpable deadly imaginations that is portrayed deftly. This is the one that would have had Jack the Ripper's approval, especially so if sneaking around in the dark is your thing as was the most infamous killer that was never caught.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder....Many times when I ask my steam friends which game they prefer between Battlefield 3 or mw3, they usually choose MW3. Despite it's many flaws this game is still well liked. Aside from realism which it lacks, it is a relatively fun game to play. and plenty of excitement around every corner and camping strongholds. I will recommend this game to most, but my mind is made up that BF3 is the superior game in the militiary genre.
