Always online and terrible servers mean even solo play is a nightmare.

Cannot recommend this game in the current state. It's early access, so expect a literal take on "Hey, it's early access... what do you expect".
The game is barren - enjoy walking through forests with a couple of random AI to keep you company, zombies are currently all placeholder models but with more focus added to making guns more modular like Tarkov. To top it off, the map has become the size of a golf course with one city and one military base.
Compare this to the previous build which had multiple cities, smaller towns and a decent military base that would put DayZ to shame.

In order to play the older version you need to access the beta build, which seems back-to-front. "Hey here's my new build, come test it" surely should be the beta until more is added.

And why the hell do characters look like Rocky Dennis now?

Unstable 90% of the time. The other 10% it just loads forever.

Between losing 40 minutes to camping players with pay-to-win weapons, and dogs that can serpentine at the speed of light after you hit them once... I only regret that I didn't spend these seven hours pulling my own teeth.

Edit: Alright, after a few more hours, it's kinda like CBT... I like it, but it hurts to play.
