This game is a blast. It mixes PVE with PVP in the best of ways. It's atmospheric, tense, and exciting. Crytek is doing a great job of listening to the community and making this game reach its potential. One of the best games I have played in a long time. You get real bang for your buck with this purchase.

Don't buy this game. The players are absolutely toxic. You thought Xbox was bad? Wait until you play Rainbow Six! This is supposed to be a team game where tactics and communication are crucial. Instead, what you get is teenagers killing you in spawn and calling you racial slurs in voice chat. Or they 4-queue with the intention of trolling whoever ends up being the 5th player on the team...which will be you! I have a lot of hours on this game and I can say...sure, the gameplay is fun, hence the reason I have so many hours but...I can tell you after so many hours of dealing with the toxic players, I've had my fill.

There is a "Report Toxic Player" button in the game which does nothing. Ubisoft requires that you submit video evidence to be able to "investigate" toxic behavior. I don't have the hard drive space or the rig to run video capture while I'm playing Rainbow Six all the time and I'm sure plenty of players don't, either. Ubisoft's answer to this problem is woefully lacking. Check out Reddit or the player forums for more on this. Complaints about toxic behavior are all over the place.

There are simple things Ubisoft could do to curb this behavior but instead they've offered a placebo "Report Toxic Player" button. Don't buy this garbage.

Love this game, thousands of hours played, definitive 4X game...Must have for any PC Gamer!
