Just blown away by how good the netcode in this game is. Playing against people in Brazil and it's still playable.

The worst download manager ever created. This may as well be a simulation of a terrible download manager.

However, once you get past the terrible download manager going at half speed the game is beautiful.

An absolute masterpiece of a game, tear jerking at times. Don't let the cute look of this game fool you though, it's hard!

The trust factor system in this game is really really broken. The community as a whole is pretty toxic, if you play well and people report you from the other team over multiple matches, you will be put into a low trust factor pool where you'll only play against the most toxic people in CS and blatant cheaters. You'll then derank and once you've built your trust factor back to a normal level, start playing normal people. Of course, you're a much lower rank now so again you'll be playing against people who think you're cheating and again back to the low trust factor pool.

It's a broken game now, don't bother with mm and just join faceit or similar.

Goosebumps playing this! Flashbacks from having the PS1 hooked up to the crt sony vcr/tv combo, sat crossed legged infront of the fire. If you've ever played any of the original 3 games, all of these are amazing remasters. Only small issue, it'll lag when in anything but 36fps.

As an older guy I like to think I can hang with the cool kids with my 2 second twitch reactions, 126 single pixels wall bangs it’s not my 33 ticks fault, I wish I still had any memory left in my mussel frites; this for me is what a casual game should be. It combines both relaxed moments, figuring out puzzles and soaking up the atmosphere while introducing fighting mechanics that are beatable without first having a 50 course meal of “oh ♥♥♥♥ you pressed the wrong button 50ms too early or 120ms too late now you dead”, or “HA, HA NOOB” twitch reactions, that go along with the verbal bravado of someone who has laid my mother on their 12th birthday for the 46th time this game.

So, if you want a casual game with a great story, nice visuals and stunning binaural sound then give this a go.
