Do you like to suffer? Yes? Oh ho this is the turn based strategy game for you then. At least... on the hardest difficulty with iron man this game is properly brutal. Got a favorite squad member? Yup gonna die. Sorry. Need a rookie on the mission? Well... someone has to clear out that overwatch fire...

Still not hard enough? Mods... mods everywhere...

Or... maybe you want a more... cinematic experience? *COUGH* WIMP *COUGH* Well vetern mode has you covered! Or you know recruit mode...

Regardless of how much you like to suffer XCOM2 is a good time.

The grandaddy of the shooter genre is back (wolfenstein 3D is the great granddaddy) and in good form. Doom is still a twitch shooter with no namby pamby hide to regain your health mechanics. This means that when you're in combat you're constantly in motion, reacting to the movements of your enemies, dodging fireballs and giant fists of demonic fury. All this combines to make Doom the most fun and challenging (without being overly annoying) shooter you can buy today.

Well... at least they added content that wasn't just cosmetic this time?

Hopefully long war studios' upcoming mods with new classes, weapons, etc will be awesome but i gotta admit I feel like I let myself get taken for a ride again buying the season pass. Granted I'm an adult businessperson who makes adult business profits so it's not a huge loss for me I suppose still you'd tink I'd learn my leason at some point lol.

Ultimately if you aren't a hard core xcom fan, don't bother with the DLC, just grab crap tons of mods and you'll be happy.

This is my favorite PC game of all time. So I'm delighted to be able to play it on Windows 10 instead of having to fire up my windows 98 retro gaming machine.

However, fans of battlezone should note that the rise of the black dogs campaign isn't include (not surprising considering it was N64 exclusive) and the Red Odyssy Campaign (probably going to be sold as DLC unfortunately). Still you can emulate the N64 verison of battlezone and the red odyssy campaign can be acquired for the 1.5 verison of battlezone from battlezone1.com as of this writing although it will not be as pretty as this game it does work on the newer windows machines.

All in all, it's a gussied up version of a classic game and well worth the $20 but sinc eit's missing a good deal of content from the expansion, you should expect to have to shell out more money in the future when they decided to release the red odyssey campaigns.

It gives you a bunch stuff that lets you be half naked while you have kevlar armor. Which I don't have a problem with per se since kevlar does didly against plasma weapons I'd imagine. You 1 new armor with the midriff exposed for the plated armors and for power armor, AKA end game I'm grinding ou my psychics so we can win now shut up bradford armor you get... uh... some new skins... yeah... basically didly

You do get a few cool new arms and legs for the first two armors but... that doesn't exactly last long except on legendary iron man in which case you'll spend WAY WAAAAAY more time few months and actually get to enjoy the new bits.

Ultimately, they should have just bundled this into one of the other DLC as a value added sort of thing. Or they could have added another class of armor, or something to actually change the game play up a bit. Or added some of the cool 2nd wave options in from the previous game. Or well really anything other than hats and crap for a game that allows you to download hats and stuff from the steam workshop...

In short, if you have the reinforcements pack well you have some neat new hats and skins. But if you were considering purchasing this seperately? Don't waste your money.

Figured the game was worth a try at $2 even if it didn't work. Which it didn't even with the suggested fixes. Maybe you can get it to work, maybe you can't. Up to you whether the risk is worth taking.

Deadly 30 is a fun relatively inexpensive game. However, the action on the screen is prone to slowing down to a crawl after about 20-30 minutes of play on my PC (fx8320+HD7950). Pausing the game will allow it to catch up to itself but it'll quickly slow down again. This problem can be solved by restarting the program but that's hardly an acceptible solution.

Additionally the game cannot display at 1080p, doesn't allow for full screen display at 720p on a 1080p monitor, and the game forgets your settings everytime you restart the program (which is often).

However, the game is fun and easily worth the $1.50 I paid for it. Would it be worth $5 though? I honestly don't think so. Still for $1.50 I've gotten my money's worth so I'm recommending the game with a buyer beware sticker attached.
