Very fun FPS you can switch your brain off for. Shooting feels great, customisation is sick. Like a very fast paced Battlefield game.

After trying this on game pass for over a week I decided to buy it. I can safely say this is one of the funnest multiplayer games currently out there. The PVP is very unique and requires a lot of tactics and thought lacking in other FPS games. The ship mechanics and naval warfare is really fun especially in PVP.

Fun to adventure around with mates or on your own. Highly recommend. Game feels polished and pretty complete.

Seems very cool so far. Too early for a definitive review but I recommend checking it out.

One of the best RTS games out there. The battles are more thoughtful and realistic than Total War in a lot of ways, and I'll find it hard to go back after playing this. The AI is really good and fun to play against (also much better than total war). I can't say enough good things about this game. It's very tactical and although it is very simple, it is still very heavy on tactics and strategy, and the simple controls allow for a focus on realistic tactics rather than the typical RTS plate-spinning and power-ups.

On the negative side, I don't rate the campaign map aspect. Army organisation adds a lot of depth and creates a sense of attachment to one's regiments as they build a history throughout their victories and defeats. However, I've found the larger an army gets, the more tedious it is to reorganise one's armies between battles. So I end up procrastinating and not playing the next battle for a while. The other negative is that battles and their various phases often end suddenly and seemingly without warning. Furthermore, because of this, enemy reinforcements will sometimes appear out of nowhere, so it can be very hard to win some battles without prior knowledge of enemy reinforcement locations.

Other than that, I think this game improves upon Total War in a lot of ways, and obvious lacks in a lot of the breadth (but not necessarily the depth) of Total War. I'm a really big fan of the series thanks to this one. I wasn't overly impressed by Gettsysburg, and that's why I held off on buying this for so long, but it's a vast improvement over it's predecessor. I can't wait to try Ultimate General: American Revolution.

Message for the devs: please make Ultimate General: Napoleonic Wars! Infantry squares and massed cavalry charges and battlefield tactics of those days would be perfect for this series.

Vampire Survivors meets Deep Rock Galactic. Fun but they need to add multiplayer!

Ignore the gaming justice warriors. This is one of the best co-op games ever made.

Simultaneous turns make multiplayer campaigns so much better. I hope they put this in the next historical title.

DLC+having to buy the old games to play the old factions is a ripoff but it's loads of fun and worth it if you get into it.

Really fun and well polished. Perfectly balances realism with fun and doesn't go too far in the simulator direction nor the arcade direction.

This is a really suspenseful, unique game. Basically a 2D submarine simulator-horror game. Really fun with mates or the right pub crew.

If you like Souls games you'll probably like Elden Ring. If you don't like Souls games, you probably won't like Elden Ring. If you haven't played a Souls game, give it a go. It's legit.
