If every parent would raise their children like Kratos does the world would be a much better place.

10/10 Father Simulator. Now I'm certain I don't want a child.

Also, it's a great game. Go play it.

A little rough around the edges but overall a solid spiritual successor to the beloved Freelancer.

Here's a magic trick for anyone having FPS issues:

Add this line to your Steam launcher options: -force-d3d11

Now stop complaining and enjoy that smooth framerate.

Beautiful game but just like many others here on Steam I crash every few minutes in-game; otherwise the gameplay, UI and everything else technical seems quite fluid. Can't say much else since I haven't even left the cave as little Aloy -- which is basically an introduction to the basics of Horizon -- due to constant crashing. I rarely review but I'd really like the devs to know that they are missing out on a lot of people that will probably shelve the game if a patch doesn't fix these issues soon.

If you're thinking about trying it out for yourself and then getting a refund just know that even starting the game up for the first time might steal away 15 - 30 minutes of your game time (with you basically staring at the screen in awe as the little percent numbers climb up) since it runs a shader optimization and it takes quite a long time to finish; might as well shower, get a coffee, work, do your wife or husband and then check it out again. With trying out a few other configuration settings for optimized gameplay or exploring other graphical options, it takes away quite a good amount of time of technical spelunking that would have otherwise been spent playing and enjoying the actual game.

My advice: If you already played on the console just wait for a sale and until all the bugs, glitches and technical issues are flattened out so you will get a bug-free and cozy experience. For anyone who hasn't played the game at all do yourself a favor and wait until the reviews get better and until you know that there are very little people who get technical difficulties; and it seems like the vocal majority right now has major technical issues. If you really can't wait and you think you're a lucky player just buy the game and try it out for yourself; I sincerely hope it runs well for you because it is a stunning and artistic game which deserves to be experienced.

I can play every other game in my library without any problems; 1080, Ryzen 5 2600, 16GB, every driver updated playing on Favor Quality Settings (basically Medium to High settings) in Full HD.

Good Luck and Godspeed.

With release of Patch 1.05 the game seems to be running a lot more stable on most if not all machines so I can finally turn it into a good review. Fabulous game. Go play it. Thank you.

SpellForce 3 is a really great classic-styled RPG mixed with some minor RTS elements; a great tribute to the unique gameplay of SpellForce 1 & 2. If you only so much as liked SpellForce 1 & 2, you will absolutely love SpellForce 3. Beautiful graphics, nice VFX, with easy-to-learn but hard-to-master skill level, amazing voice acting, compelling story -- one of the lead voice actors is the voice of Geralt of Rivia but the others are of astounding quality as well -- with hella lot of interesting characters and well-written plot points.

If you fancy a good oldschool-styled RPG with a little party that will keep you busy around christmas, this one is for you.

--- No idea why it got so many bad reviews but I suppose this is because of the many game-breaking bugs that appeared with the release version of the game; most if not all bugs have been purged by the Light and the game has elevated itself to astonishing beauty.

If you played Freelancer and liked it you will definitely love Star Conflict. Fast-paced space combat combined with beautiful graphics and an online game lobby.
