Hands down my favorite Build engine game. If you're not a purist that wants the exact, down-to-a-pixel vanilla experience - look no further. No setup issues what so ever - works just great, aside for an occasional sound glitch that you'd expect from a Build engine game anyway.

A timeless classic. Worth returning to, at the very least to see how well it holds up against more recent titles.

Great atmosphere created by a distinct art style and the immediately recognizable narrator. The gameplay is as punishing as you want it to be. RNG can be annoying at times, but that's just part of the experience. Highly recommended.

A prime example of how to reboot a franchise. Fantastic gameplay, excellent music. One of the best recent shooters (singleplayer-wise).

Valve's attempt at episodic content. Arguably a failed attempt, since the idea was clearly abendoned, leaving us all with a massive cliffhanger, and still waiting for the story to continue.
Hurt feelings aside, Half-Life 2: Ep Two offers some of the best, fantasticly paced FPS gameplay, and gameplay-driven storytelling I have ever experienced.
It might just be time for another playthrough.
