This game cannot be recommended in its current state. Even putting aside the horrific FPS, lag and overall performance, the game has repeatedly crashed to desktop in under two hours of play.

I enjoy the Total War games (and expect to enjoy this one after the issues are sorted), but paying full price for the third game in a series only to experience such a buggy mess cannot be acceptable.

After all these years, TF2 is still the king of the class-based shooter genre.

It's Castlevania with fish. If that alone is not enough, this fantastic indie gem offers a huge, detailed world spanning all manners of watery locales from icey shallows to a pitch black abyss and easily, *easily* one of the best soundtracks in videogame history, no exaggeration.

Being able to make choices in a game is a big deal these days. It's just a shame few do it well. And out of those few that manage it, Alpha Protocol stands tall as the prime example. The gameplay may be archaic at best and broken at worst but it crafts an excellent techno-thriller with a well thought out world and invites you to spin it how you want. Whereas an average game would give you a bonus if you made someone your friend, Alpha Protocol may reward you by angering someone so much that their hatred of you clouds their judgement. Whereas a normal game makes you choose a side, Alpha Protocol invites you to play multiple sides, playing them off against each other leaving the remaining allies ripe for a final, easy betrayal.

If you like games that let you truly get involved in their storylines and don't ever make you think how 'this choice would actually work in a video game', play this. Seriously, there's not really another game that has done choices as well.

As far as numbers go, 140 is a pretty good one.

It's like hardcore drug use and it destroys lives. Give it a go, what's the worst that could happen?

Well, you could be here 1000 game hours later hating yourself as you queue for another all pick.

Send help. As in TP bottom because they're five manning.
