I loved the AC series up until the third installment. With Assassin's Creed: Origins, I decided to jump back in and really liked it (not loved it).

I wasn't originally going to pick up Odyssey, but did based on reviews. Holy cow I'm glad I did!

The series abandoned pure realism, granting you "magical" skills that are so damn cool. For example, fall damage can't kill you, and after leveling up it doesn't exist. At first I was turned off with the idea that Assassin's Creed goes "magical" but after playing, it's definitely for the best. So much damn fun it's a joy to play.

Also the graphics. Jaw dropping and I'm playing on "High" settings. Loving the story too: it's basic but the mysteries presented has its hooks in me!

Great game! Excellent atmosphere, great worldbuilding (through limited expositon which I love). Great ending!

However, you have to get passed the typos and complete lack of tutorial.

An additional thought for the developers:

I wish the dialog amongst the passengers wasn't at the same time as having to feed/medical them. There were so many times I wanted to stick around and listen to what the passengers were saying but couldn't because several were about to die so I kept having to run in and out of the car! Let me listen to your story!

Ori and the Blind Forest is a must play game, doubly so if you love metroidvania-style games. The gorgeous graphics are timeless and the difficulty is tougher than it seems - but never unfairly so. And the music! What a soundtrack!

Buy this game!

10 mins of your life. Not even and it's unforgettable. DO IT!!

Play this game. It's beautiful and surprisingly touching.

The control scheme is really cool: each half of your controller controls one of the brothers. At first it's pretty hard to wrap your brain around it, but the puzzles start off very easy to get you used to it so it never gets too hard.

At 3$ on sales, there is no reason not to buy this game. Just do yourself a favour and play through it in one playthrough if you can... it's about 3 hours long (perfect length for a game like this).

This game is almost so bad it's good.

Almost.

The story is vomit. The AI is garbage. The voice acting is atrocious. The graphics are embarassing. The squadmates are incredible annoying.

Avoid like the plague.

I understand that some people love this game. I didn't. I really, really didn't. I implore you to look up reviews and YouTube videos before you make the decision to buy it for yourself.

If you liked the last two Max Payne's, I'd highly recommend you grab this one. I'd rank it just below the first game in quality.

One thing though: there are a LOT of cutscenes in this game, so if you're the kind of person who doesn't like control being taken away from the character you may find this annoying. The cutscenes aren't short either. Personally, I loved this but some people may not.

Also, be aware that the game is almost 30(!)Gb. That's a lot. If you have the bandwidth, though, don't hesitate.

This game is worth playing through just for the story. The gameplay is good, but it is also repetitive!

Forget getting all the collectibles, and forget doing all the side missions. Just play through it for the story. Why? Because Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood is so good (and improves so much over this game) that it's worth playing through to get the full experience.
