Completed in under 2.5 hours (with taking a break and leaving the game on). No replayability. Could've done without the story that really pads it out and is not only uninteresting, but annoying.

The only interest that this game holds over similar games is the unique mechanics on some levels, but the puzzles weren't challenging. I'm considering returning it.

I've given this game a fair chance, and while I might continue to play it, it's not as good as The Sims 3 or 2. I don't have any interest in buying the dozens of stuff packs for it.

Entertaining

The original is still better than the clones.

This game was enjoyable (though short), but only after I got well into it. It was initially not interesting and I almost quit before the first mission began. I also felt deceived as to what the gameplay would be like, as I thought that it would be a game that was more about being part of the firewatch, rather than a story-based game that happened to feature the firewatch. The role wasn't totally irrelevant to the gameplay and figured into it in a small way, but it was overall disappointing. I'm not going to recommend this game because I'm not given a choice of giving it a neutral review, but it wasn't terrible - just know that it's not what I was given the impression it would be based upon the demo and advertising.

If you enjoy building roller coasters, this is a decent game. It has some minor issues, but nothing that ruins the experience.

A lot of unsatisfying grinding/busywork that doesn't progress in an interesting manner. It serves the purpose of being "Harvest Moon for PC," but it's not the 90s. We need a better game than that today.

With the Beyond update, this game became more interesting and fun to play with friends, and less grinding. I'd like to see things continue in that direction. It's becoming MMO-like, which makes the price seem worthwhile if these multiplayer updates continue.

A pleasantly surprising audio-visual trip. Highly recommend.
