This game is stupid fun, might not make sense until you start looping runs but then it just gets absurd. 10/10

Pitch perfect requel to Robocop 2. Right off the bat, Peter Weller returns as Robo and its phenomenal to hear him again. There was so much care and love of the films put into this game that even the layout of the precinct is the same as the movies.

The gameplay is not revolutionary but it is very refined, and indulges in so much ultraviolence and body dismemberment...well it would make Paul Verhoeven blush. Had a great time with this game and recommend it to any fans of the films, or just looking for a solid ~15 hour narrative with tons of bombastic action.

Damn this game is like crack, its so addicting and I can't wait for the future content. I got through the main story as of 3-12-23 and i loved it. If you like Fishing minigames, Stardew or other farm sims, and even cooking games, this is up your alley.

This game is really great, the dev puts in a lot of work to update the game frequently, I did not expect to enjoy this game as much as I did.

Good game, not a fan of all the DLCs but they are only there for when you are done with the end game and each one is reasonably priced for what you get.

In regards to the main game, it is essentially Diablo in 40k but it is steeped in the 40k lore. Obviously it is not as well made as Diablo (being a huge release from one of the largest publishers on the planet) but a lot of work has gone into this since early access to make it a stable, enjoyable experience.

If you're a 40k fan who likes ARPGs like Diablo/Torchlight you will definitely get your money's worth out this.

Not easy, but really really fun. Excellent production values as well. Not usually a fan of rogue-likes but this one keeps me coming back for more.

Early Access Review
One guy, just one developer has been tirelessly and consistantly working on this gem for several years now. I've had it since it was first on early access and I'm astonished at how far the game has come. The developer (again 1 GUY!) is constantly putting out more content and updates at a rate that would make full studios blush.

The game itself is an atmospheric masterpiece. It is a labor of love to bring one man's vision to life of these alien worlds. Yes, the alien worlds are not complete ecosystems, but they need not be. They each have their own felling that is embelleshed by the different colors of sunrises/sunsets, the AMAZING music that each planet has as its theme.

It is well worth the asking price, and I hope one day to see a completed release. Even in it's current state, it's one of the better examples of Early Access developments on steam, period.

NeoTokyo started as a source mod way back in the day. I couldn't tell you exactly when I started playing but it was near the time that steam came out along with the orange box. That said, it had always been a great game I occasionally dipped my toes into over the years.

During those years, a small, tight-knit community has formed (ANP) and it has only been recently that I have dug deeper into the game and it's culture. Like the community, Neotokyo is meant to be accepted wholly with it's flaws intact, they only serve to make the game a richer, character building experience.

Indeed NT would not be the game I and many others have come to love if it didn't crash every few map changes (redlight!). I have come to embrace these NT-isms as part of the entire experience, as have many others.

The game has not changed much since 2006 but it does not need to. If you are looking to play this free source mod, just know a few things:

-Know when to play, certain times of the day will bring more players to servers if it is afternoon/evening/night in their respective timezone. This has been my tactic to work around the small amount of active players.

-Friendly Fire is always on, so be mindful of teammates when lobbing dat nade into that crowded hallway. While it is mostly forgiven, consistant teamkilling will bring the ire of the admins upon you.

-Use a mic, beyond the tactical implications, getting to f--- around with the rest of the NT community is always a laugh.

-Have fun, this is not CoD, Battlefield or even CS:GO, it is a free mod that people really enjoy for the fun of the game with competition being second to that.

Keep those in mind and join up today!
I hope to see you online with us soon, NT FRIDAYSSS!!!!!! (be aware, it gets weird on Fridays)

Civ 5 in spaceeeeeee!!!!!

Seriously though, having logged a lot of hours I find this a soothing, less busy version of Civ with interplanetary politics replacing territorial disputes with Gandhi and Kamehameha.

Anyone familiar with Civ's resource system and gameplay will pick up this game in 0 seconds flat.

My only criticism is that instead of immersing myself in the battles, it is FAR easier to click Auto-resolve. A la Total War games. When your empire spans across hundreds of systems and possibly thousands of worlds, there is no time to waste watching a battle unfold, you have an intergalactic empire to manage!
