Good game. Brutal grind. Brutal monetization system. And useless customer support.

This game is frikken amazing. So much fun in co-op. If you have even a passing interest in the survival genre you need to buy this game.

This is a tough review to write. There is so much that I love about this game, but in it's current state it is difficult to recommend.

Firstly, optimization. I have an RTX3080. 3700X and 32GB of 3600MHz RAM, and at 4K with all settings on low and DLSS set to "performance" I will frequently dip to 25fps (while playing with just 2 friends). This is straight up unacceptable for a "full version" game release. It's becoming an all too familiar story in the games industry; just pushing out unfinished games for the cash injection.

Secondly, graphics shortcomings. For a game that relies so much on running from point A to point B, the experience is almost comical. Trees and bushes just magically appear in front of your face while you are running. Even if I adjust the view distance setting it doesn't seem to make a difference. Comically immersion breaking.

Speaking of immersion, what's up with the design decision to have bears literally spawn on top of you as a triggered event? Bizarre.

I will revisit this review if improvements are made.
