PoE lite. Borrowing some of the best features from PoE and D4, including league launch day server queues.

If PoE is too overwhelming for you, and D4 was a major ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dissapointment, then this is for you.

I've been looking forward to this for a while, and so far, it hasn't let me down.

Bugs and Glitches aside (yay early access), its pretty much Valhiem with graphics ++, and a cool sense of progression with the enshrouded mechanic. Start by playing by yourself, and then take the same character over to your friends servers and join arms for multiplayer fun.

Well worth the cost of entry, and one of my recommended games of January 2024.

A viral hit and it isn't hard to see why. It's everything i wanted Pokemon Scarlet/Violet to be, and even more.

If you grew up with pokemon, this is the next step for you. If anything expect to see a lot of similar games to this popping up soon, due to its insane popularity.

The slavery pal system is not perfect just yet, but its a nice breath of fresh air to the survival game genre.

Highly recommended.

Shooty Shooty Looty Looty

"Souls-like" basically means corpse running till you git gud.

9/10 would scream at my character as he slowly heals again.

Another sad excuse of a free to play game, a shoddy mobile phone game with over the top pay to win mechanics poorly ported to PC.

Just don't.

Finally a game where my knowledge of Australian flora and fauna gives me an advantage. My primary school teachers would be proud.

The breaking of tools, seems counter-productive.
It's effectively an animal crossing clone, which i dont like, so i guess im biased.
Overall its not a terrible game, but doesnt do much for a feeling of progression or accomplishment.

Not my cup of tea.

Once in a while a game comes along that helps blur the line between Games and Art.

This year, Stray is that game.

Although it is short (can be completed within 4 hours) it leaves a lasting impression that's truly unique. After finishing it i sat in my chair for around 30 mins contemplating what i just experienced, and trying to portray it into words in a review is incredibly difficult without spoiling this absolute gem.

Please play this game. It doesn't have to be now, but as long as you eventually get around to it.
