As of this writing, I have 1200 hours in Rust and Meh, it will be forever on the verge of greatness.

Pros:
Facepunch updates everyweek help keep the game fresh

Cons:
Facepunch updates sometimes make the game buggy or less fun (ladders!)

It's worth playing, I would pay $19 for it again BUT I'm stepping away for a while and going to see what it looks like in 6 months to a year.

Won't even be the same game!

Hopefully they fix stuff

Grab it on sale, yada yada

I love this game, it's fast paced shooter that reminds me of the good ole quake arena days.

The movement and guns all feel good and the no reloading aspect keeps you focused on hunting/aiming rather than managing the clips in your guns.

The power upgrades keep the gameplay fresh and add another demension (no pun intended) :p to the action.

Please soak it up and enjoy it while it's on sale! This is a shining example of what a great next generation engine is capable of.

The single player is also amazing, and the visuals are mind blowing. Just get it already!!!

CS:GO Review
**Update**
Free to play, cheaters still come in waves. If you see one, log off for a few days till they are banned.

**Update**

I cannot recommend this game due to cheaters. One of my friends told me he has been cheating for over a year and hasn't been caught. :/ I removed him....

There's either cheaters pretending to be smurfs (I used to be global! -every cheater pretending to be a smurf)
Or just cheaters. I get "Ya I'm cheating, so what?"

To new players thinking about this game: (Assuming you want a true comptitive arcade shooter)

Be prepaired for a massive learning curve. I'm 3k+ hours in, and still learn new things.
Watch youtube guides, have good aim, learn smokes, practice for hours. Nothing you do will be better than having game sense. And that only comes from playing the game.

There is also a very toxic side to this game's community, and plenty of cheaters. The game is sold cheaply so it's easy for cheaters to get new accounts. And Valve doesn't block their GPU CPU or HDD serial numbers. They could... but they don't. And why would they? It would hurt their bottom line?

Lots of games inside CSGO also, from the operations that come along, the fantasy teams games, weapon skins, stickers, gloves, socks etc. Just like in any free to play game... except you have to buy csgo.... hmmm....

+Arm Race
+DeathMath
+Comp

-Cheaters
-Toxic Teammates
-Skins
-Silly Physics
-64 tick servers in Comp. (And people who say 64 tick doesn't matter... don't really know what they are talking about.)

+-If you get this game and drop 1,000 hours into, which is easy, you will probabbly play it forever. That's just the way it is.-+

There's a good reason this game is rated OVERWHELMINGLY POSITIVE. It's "Not your typical video game". Everyone loves pros/cons so here we go.

Cons:
It's not free, but at $4.99 during the summer sales, it feels like it's free.

Pros:

Learning Builds at a steady pace. Just when you think you've figured out everything with portals, they show you you haven't.

Makes you feel smart when you complete a level.

Cave Johnson/GLaDOS/Wheatley are all interwined perfectly. It feels like each one had their own writer. Since you are Chell, she doesn't have much dialog which is cool because you inject your own feelings into the character that you are playing as making it more immersive.

Unique, campy story.

You'd like this if you like:
Puzzles
The Venture Bros
James Bond
Being Alive

You won't like this if:
You have video games.
Hate Life.

I saw the other positive reviews, so I thought I would go out on a limb and try Murder Miners. The first 30 mins I was undecided, wondering if I had made a good decision. Then I got into the multiplayer and realized the halo 1 mechanics at work and started having a lot of fun. It's better with all your friends in on teamspeak. The grappling hook is easy to master and reminds me of the old days in quake.

Then I discovered the map remakes. WOW. Those maps are still so much fun, GoldenEye, COD, Halo, and even csgo maps reinvented with little blocks.

We were on Coagulation, and dug holes under the base doors, and sniper towers outside our bases.

10/10 would buy again. This game is fun.

Notes:
No dedicated servers.
Finding Friends rooms is easy.
No in game voice.
Controls are easy to learn, press "E" to get the same weapons you spawned with last time.
Game rarely crashes.

I can't wait to see what these guys do for MM2!!!!

Good work guys
