Beautiful, atmospheric, and challenging, Hollow Knight stands high atop the mountain that is the Metroidvania genre. It's not hyperbole when I make the argument that it might even be its summit.

This is one of the best platformers with Metroidvania elements that I have ever played. The story and art style are beautiful. The music will stay with you long after you've completed it. The game is challenging, but never seems unfair.

If perfection was attainable, it would be this game.
