I had a very slow and brutal start to this game, got stuck on an island for 3-4 hours with no boars and no way to craft a raft and you can't swim 10ft without drowning....really sucked. But after all of that headache I finally started making some progress. This game is hard and because of that, if you manage to get anything accomplished it feels more rewarding than say a game that's too easy. I still don't think it lives up to the hype whatsoever...Rust is still a worlds better game by miles but this one has potential at least to be a good PvE/co-op game as long as the content keeps coming. Right now it's a bit of the same loop and can get grindy but occasionally you see something new and interesting and usually very deadly so for now I'm intrigued enough to continue on. The dedicated server side of things is really bad in it's current form, no console commands (must be in the client to run them) and server name doesn't show up on the server browser, unable to make the server private without having to get everyones steamID and adding it to a whitelist...server console doesn't even tell you how many players are on and on and on...much work to be done. Hopefully they improve that soon because right now It's a SOB to get running properly and get populated due to scattered bits and pieces of info about how to do it all over the internet but not one guide that covers it all.

I recommend this game if you enjoy working 6 hours to build your house for it to be stolen when you wake up, good times :P

Can't connect to ANY servers and they all show 0 players...this really pisses me off. Day 1 and your game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥. great launch idiots
