This is one of the best action survival game on the market, a mix of Fallout, Firewatch, Stranded Deep and Don't Starve, but just the good parts 😉 It contains a story mode, with 4 gripping episodes, which is also a great way to learn the game. The last episodes are to be expected to land in 2022, and the entire game can run on budget hardware.

The other part of the game is the sandbox mode, where it is you against the brutal nature and harsh environment. As a new player to the game, you can start in an easy region and then move on too much more difficult regions. There is also challenges and special timed events for the sandbox mode, which is another plus.

The games receive free updates often, and has so now for years, which makes it amazing value and a must own for anyone that likes survival games just a smidge. Each episode is around 6-10 hours, and there is almost endless hours of fun from the sandbox mode, which gets new content along with the episodes.
