Every time they try and make Contra games with 3d polygonal characters and levels it feels like trash, I wish they'd stop doing this.

Don't bother, they just released an update that overhauled everything and it's completely broken and laggy unlike any update failure on any game I've played. Some say it's because they deleted the PC version and created a mobile version that is now ported to PC. I believe it, that's what feels like happened. Game used to be fast, responsive, no frame rate issues and rarely ever disconnected. Now these things are the norm. I only played it on occasion as a quick 5 minutes of catharsis because it was solid and fun, now I can't enjoy it.

Dodge this game.

This is a beautiful game that you don't get to play. There is literally hours of dialogue and scene changes and more dialogue going on somewhere else and then back to the original dialogue then more dialogue and a scene change and now there's more dialogue. Then a battle, which is fun and enjoyable. Then more dialogue and more exposition and more dialogue. I am not exaggerating, the amount of dialogue and exposition is just endless. They even give you a button to fast forward conversations and sometimes skip entire scenes, 2 hours in and I was using them both and had given up on following the long winded story but even fast forwarding and skipping every single scene of dialogue it takes 10-20 minutes to get to the next battle. I can't understate it, this game is very J in the Jrpg, the Japanese know how to drag dialogue out for an eternity and this is one of the more impressive examples.I want to play this game, but it's all just clicking through dialogue. Even though the art and battle system is great, you rarely ever actual get into a battle.

I was expecting remastered or improved pixels, but they just... added nonsense that wasn't there, the font alone is off putting and kind of gross but I guess it counts as remastered pixels?
This is inferior to the original and pretty much any other version.

I've been playing CounterStrike since beta 1.2, right around 20 years ago. Global Offensive added a competitive and ranking system which was something CS always needed. Now, with the aging server infrastructure and disinterest in improving the games timing and physics, it has all but died.
I don't play CS anymore, except occasionally a few rounds of gungame on Source and GO only when my friends pester me enough.
I don't think the game threatens to steal peoples souls like it did in my time, otherwise I would advise against playing it. But as of now I suggest it because with a good group of at least 4 other friends that all get along this game can be more fun, challenging and interesting than anything else out there.

2D master race: "This game is trash."

I bought this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game on a whim. I've known about dating sims but have never played one. I played through once and feel like I got about $2.00 worth of game play, $20 worth of laughs, and $7 of "wtf?". 10/10 but would not play again.

I died doing what I love... riding tanks.
