it's fine if you get it on sale. kinda short, maybe 10-ish hours for the main story, depending on whether or not you get stuck on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ car sections

you can expect to see:
- "Failed to join game lobby"
- "Failed to join because the session is full."
- pubbies who do not know how to use a microphone
- pubbies who do not know how to equip stratagems
- pubbies who do not know how to equip boosters

the first red flag comes up when it asks you how you want to sign in, and then you start to notice that they eventually want to load this thing down with microtransactions. also I don't like how it marks off a sequence as completed before it's blocked off

it's like a worse path of exile game

was having a good time until they decided to drop some Jordan Peterson in-game

I played this game for a few hours and it made me want to go back and play AC Odyssey, and it's honestly impressive how much worse you can get at making video games after only two years.

still in early access

you load up the lobby and walk up to the kiosk that lets you join a game and then you press the play button and sit there for 15 minutes while absolutely nothing happens. then when you quit the game it tells you it crashed. would not recommend.

It's kind of incredible how much is gated behind spending money, but at the same time they aren't going to develop anything that won't make them money. There's dozens of little examples but I think the most blatant one is that you're able to have a space in your player name, so imagine like "Luke Skywalker" with a bunch of diacritics or whatever. In chat, the second name won't be capitalized, because in the years that feature has been up, no one's tried to implement a Proper() function, because that won't make money.

I never played the witness so you can be sure that when I tell you this game is good it is an unbiased opinion
