Client interp and general hit registration in the game is so much worse than CSGO I honestly can't believe they launched the game like this. Call it skill issue, or whatever you want. Complete re-work to make it feel like they just put lipstick on a pig.

Early negative reviews of this game are just cry babies-- Wah, the game is so popular the servers crash on launch day. Get real. This game is an absolute blast to play with your friends. Worth every penny. And I can only assume that they will add more content quickly.

I'm going to leave a positive review for the moment, and this is subject to change. But I'm leaving this as a "Wait and see.", I would like to give the game a damn chance instead of it being driven into the ground by people that have the attention-span and the patience of a fly.

There are fixes online/reddit for getting your FPS up. Granted this is really really bad that the devs themselves didnt implement these tweaks themselves, but the game needs to be optimized. That said, majority of these reviews are from people that are raging over 1. Lines to get into the server 2. People that probably didnt even leave the tutorial/main city area 3. People who cant CONCEIVABLY know what the game has to offer yet. 4. Some poor translations.

Granted, I will admit, the optimization/translation issue really looks bad... there are some things to think about:

From the extensive research i have done (+ promises from the developers who are SELF PUBLISHING THIS GAME), this game has the potential to be a good (stressed on good, not great.. yet...) MMO. It has all the right elements:

-Skill based combat, no auto pilot here
-Gear AND skill mattters
-Progressive gear grind
-Extensive Dungeon AND PvP content
-Open world pvp and dueling
-Pets/Taming
-Focus on min/max via buffs, food, crafting etc...

So far, its a soft sub, and no "p2w" elements in the cash store, if I was to sum up the store in a few words, its costumes and convienience. This may change... *cough bdo cough*... but again we will see.

Has alot of "old school" elements that dont lead into some casual care bear ez mode fest that alot of MMOs have turned into... im looking at you WoW.

Give it a chance... I will. And if the ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan, and continues to hit the fan, Ill be the first to negatively review this game... When the game has been properly fleshed out... BY PUTTING THE TIME IN.

This game is amazing. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Loved the original DoW. DoW2 came out, and I skipped it. I loved the large scale of DoW1, and seeing what DoW2 did, I thought to myself why? Now we have DoW3. And I'm genuinely pleased with it. Its a little more structured than the original in terms of how the multiplayer can be played. You can't spam turrets, and do 3 minute cheese rushes. Its very focused on large scale and micro of your units. I like the elite system, and I like how much effort you have to put into the fights and managing your units. I don't play single player and I never will, it was always the multiplayer that mattered to me.

I like that each army has progression and doctrine unlocks. I like what the game did, yea its no DoW1, but its DoW. The multiplayer is fun, and anyone complaining the game lacks maps etc, may I remind you that DoW/2/ have been about the modding, and DLCs that came out. The game is litterally gonna get better with time, so if you at all want to play a new DoW, and was someone like me that skipped DoW2 because it no longer was an "RTS" in the traditional term, then I personally think you will enjoy this. Its a different pace/style of RTS but all the core elements are there with an interesting twist.

Anyone calling this a Moba has no idea what the term really means.

This is an RTS with win conditions/objectives. Get over it.

There will be more maps and DLC's down the road as have been done with every other DoW. So if you are on the fence, just get the game!

I love this game I really do, but Its unplayable. Chinese hackers and filled to the brim with exploits. People walk through walls, fall through the earth etc, your base will be trashed within hours of logging out. It is not worth playing this game at the moment. For whatever reasons the devs keep pushing out more content while the core mechanics are broken.

Wait till ♥♥♥♥ gets fixed, then prepare for one of the most awesome survival games ever, until then, save yourself the frustration and pass on this.

Its like CSGO in a strange way. You just load in, wreck or get wrecked. No ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, super balanced, all of the characters are fun AF to play. Has customizations for the characters and skins... kinda like CSGO... but in a moba playstyle, without the MOBA bs. You actually have to aim. You actually have to try.

Awesome.
