He was a charitable man, who dedicated the last years of his life to teaching underprivileged children how to ride and fix bikes, and his whole life had a knack for picking up wafes and strays. We met so many people who's lives he'd touched, but he'd never admit that. He truly was special.
I don't know if this is the best place to put this announcement, but if anyone wants to reach out to me and tell me of any funny gaming stories then please do. I know he had lots of friends on here. I really miss him. He was my closest friend on steam, and I don't have the heart to un-add him, but it means that every time I go to join a multiplayer game it says "Wyldetyke is unavailable to join" and forever so it will remain that way.
I love you so much still, Chris. It reminds me of one of my favourite quotes - "What is grief, if not love persevering?"

Rest in power, Chris.

I'm sorry this has taken me so long, but I'm Wyldetykes niece. You may have noticed he hasn't been online for a long time. Last September Wyldetyke, or as I knew him, Chris, passed away peacefully in his sleep from a heart condition we were all unaware of. He was a very private man. He didn't keep many people close, but I was blessed to be one of them. I think I'm really feeling it right now, because I'm about to graduate university, and he should have been here to see it.
We held his funeral (if you can call it that) in his favourite pub last November and we invited all of his IRL friends. There was no reading of scripture or fancy words - we all know he would have hated that. There was just alcohol, tears, and the best people in the world.
