i loved the story but it felt like this game took away everything which made amnesia scary removing the sanity feature is what killed most of the vibe half of the world isn't intractable so if something is intractable you know you need it to progress instead of figuring it out there was no point in hiding because the manpigs were so slow and easy to counter it was almost impossible to actually get killed by them this game tried to be a sequel to amnesia the dark decent but failed badly unless it was in a note i never found we never found out what the machine actually does and this game's puzzles were boring because it felt like most of them were the exact same

I really like the themes and atmosphere, but unfortunately my playthrough was marred by a lot of crashing, and eventually a certain hard crash that completely prevents me from finishing the game. I checked a bunch of old posts but while others had encountered the same issue, none had a consistent solution.

If not for stability issues this would be a mild rec- the strengths I pointed out earlier are somewhat marred by a lack of interactivity, a weird blue haze/filter, and predictable twists. But I did mostly enjoy my time in A:AMfP, at least when I wasn't being kicked to desktop.
