new KWAD without anim.xml will be allowed to extract, but pngs will be extracted without proper empty space around ie will be very not-ready to repack or re-use or edit*

Animated portraits works without it, build.xml is enough. Actually same for characters, but new kwads will not be allowed to be extracted back (can be a problem when HDD with source files dies etc). KWAD tool can extract them (build.xml), those are manadatory. If you want talk about it more, add me and PM. Or just re-check my guide and api example mod. Props, dunno, you'll have to research that part by yourself, I never had enough code understanding to be able to put new props, so didn't touched it, there's lock decoder included in api example btw.

Those are just for agents / grenades though? Is it possible to find them for profiles or other props?

Hi Saltrain, you can find it in api example mod, inside of included .anim archives.
