Definitely an enjoyable game for Early Access. The complexity between the adventurers is still growing and expanding out. Quests range from almost too easy to how did anyone even survive the trip home. The RNG has been tweaked several times since I first started playing the game.

This is one of the better management sims around. No waiting on long timers for no real reason. Each day is played through a number of "actions" available in the tavern and then the day plays out as a single turn with dice rolls at appropriate events. These events are generally pass or fail and the stats of the heroes are heavily weighted in your roll chances. Some events may even incur injury or death to your adventurers, which can be troubling if you've spent days leveling a single group.

On the down swing of it, there are definitely some kinks to work out still as with any Early Access game. Saves may not load and characters get wonky for no reason at all but the devs have been very good about fixing bad saves and responding within 12-24 hours to bug reports, even over the holidays.

Overall, I definitely recommend the game.

Update 11/23/2018: Some great changes have improved the stability of the game. Weekly dev talks have also been occurring to discuss with the players what the players want and expect out of future updates. It has been refreshing to see a studio be this open and engaging with their audience.
