Tldr: Just say yes!
Well, they took away the radio towers and looting for money which was a huge letdown, but that's okay. In return, we got a much better enemy AI, crafting, vehicles, much better graphics, a pretty invigorating storyline, some character customization, an exploration based discovery system, and, from what I've read (Will test later) super awesome coop and pvp options.
The enemies spawn much more frequently, and seem to know exactly where their dead comrades were when they were killed. Peggies show up at the first sound of gunfire, then more show up, and more and more and more. Pretty cool, wave-esque shooting action. Huge increase in enemy numbers. That's the BIGGEST plus in my book, I see this game more as a "how many can I avoid or silently kill to save the hostages" instead of "how quick can I take these guys on" because even after killing all in the immediate area, more show up, probably from a not heard call on a radio for help.
The biggest gripe:
Looting. It's nonexistant. Guns are expensive. Ammo is expensive. Mods are expensive. Everything in game costs lots of money in comparison to how much money you find lying around. For example, one safe (decent enough looting) only had 400 bucks. That's enough for ONE medkit with a couple bucks left over. Killing enemies for loot to sell is a thing of the past. Enemies now inexplicably all ONLY carry ingredients for improvised explosives in addition to the normal money and ammunition. There is now only a negligible benefit to fighting the enemies in this game because of this. The only way to get any serious amount of money is hunting and fishing. Which is quite difficult considering there are barely enough animals to keep a full bait pouch let alone make the roughly thousand dollars needed to buy any single upgrade. I see what you did there, ubi, you added a pay to win feature, selling in game currency for real world moolah.
Second gripe, no radio towers, c'mon Ubisoft, it workdd for EVERY OTHER GAME. Not just Far Cry, I mean even Assassin's Creed. Even if it didn't unlock the map in this game, it would have give the game a handful of unique challenges. Even if it were just something to do, on the side, I really wish they didn't get rid of it.
I highly reccomend this game, It's fun. Great story, it dropped a few nice features but at the same time made up with new and improved gameplay.

Fantastic game, much more graphically intense than FarCry3. Brilliant. Enemies are challenging, but not overly difficult. Very entertaining and ingaging story. Lots of short, easy, missions, and a few longer missions. Taking command posts is fairly entertaining, and it's fun to try to meet all of the optional goals (no alerts, no alarms set off, etc) while taking them. Stealth is not important to much of the story, but it is still an option to do things stealthily. Fantastic game.

Absolutely fantastic. To be quite honest, I only bought the dlc for the robot creation/modding aspect. I did, however, complete the entire package. It took me maybe a couple of hours to complete, because I did not fast travel anywhere, and I went back and forth between missions. Long story short, though, this game adds a whole hell of a lot of content. Rust Devils, who are a new group of raiders, new robot abilities, new robot enemies, as well as new weapons. The only downside to this dlc is the fact that it's incredibly short. A higher level player, using fast travel, can easily beat this dlc in almost no time. However, for the price of the dlc, this is not a huge downside. one word of reccomendation, buy the Season Pass. With more DLC due out this year, and how the prices of each individual DLC package have gone up, the $50 season pass is actually a solid deal. I would say this DLC was an 9/10, and the reason it's not perfect is because it is quite short.

You want to buy it. Trust me. Yeah, there is no offline setting, and yeah, it's a hack and slash for the first leg of the game, (no guns until later in the game) but it's a dang good game, and there's no way I can say that it's not worth getting. Jumping into games is super fun, and easy. A little slow at the beginning, but once you start, you're hooked. Lots of weapons. Lots of zombies. Tropical island. What's more to love?

Early Access Review
Dead in the water. there's no development, basically, if you buy this, you'll get a broken game that will never work. I can PROMISE that if you pay $20USD for this game, that $20usd - steam's cut will go directly to the developers, and they will spend that money on whatever they want BESIDES freaking development.

okay game, but i simply cannot reccomend it because it's wicked expensive for what it ACTUALLY is... I'd rather have paid half the price i did, but I've always liked this game.
Pros:
You can use your own music
looks decent
difficulty system
Cons:
VERY basic
worth about half of retail value
very repetitive
DOES NOT WORK WITH ALL MEDIA TYPES
DOES NOT WORK FLAWLESSLY WITH WIN 8 (no quicktime player)
All in all, i simply cannot reccomend this game.

good game, not the best assassins creed, not the worst. overall, a decent game, with a fairly large roaming space, plenty of optional missions, and loads of minigames.

Dropped out of school to play this game, 10/10 would be delinquent again.
