A PC version exists. They decided to port the console version. Which CAN be good. AS it allows splitscreen. But for only 2 players? Bad.

Also why are people trying to play MP so bad on here? Especially for PC? Anyone can host on the original BF2???

This game has fallen completely off the deep end. I have no idea what their aim or direction is at this point. Don’t bother playing unless you have money. This is basically a “pay-to-play” at this point.

Dynamic campaign isn't dynamic, it's all a lie and pre-scripted missions. Don't listen to anything this game stands for. The graphics are bad and literally you can't control them. Escape key literally doesn't even work in menus. And Airborne troops shoot M1 Carbines like bolt action rifles. Game is lazy. Do not buy.

EDIT: Removed issues that he has since fixed

This developer is shifty, he has made 2 other games that have been since abandoned with promises of bringing in new ones, Rise of Liberty is one of those games. Another one is also his Stowaway game that literally says on the page "When will this game come out of early access?" with the answer saying "4 months" and that game was posted in 2020.
This game I have some hope for, if he doesn't abandon it as it could possibly be good.
The key issues that he has is the fact he has boasted all these things in his game but he is more or less lying.
Here are the issues:

1. He claims his AI are dynamic but you can basically see the node paths they are following to the objective, along with the fact that the AI literally doesn't pay any attention to new cover you add to the map, probably meaning everything was pre-baked on load and that the AI doesn't actually have any dynamic systems involved.

2. The scenario system is an extremely old and outdated form to make scenarios and should not have been put in, along with the problems that pertain to troop movement which I will go over, it literally just records every move that you do in the scenario creator then you just load it back up, don't make a scenario you don't like though, you can't delete them at all or have the same name with a sort of auto replace (this part can be fixed)

3. Another key problem is some buttons straight up don't work, like disabling the AI in the screen before a scenario, it doesn't matter how many times you click it, the AI commander will still do whatever it pleases. To add, the troop movement is absolutely archaic and busted, the fact that I can only select 1 unit at a time, or can't specifically select a unit in the same square as another is lazy to me, this is basic RTS controls that you boast you have when it's not even the bare minimum.

4.) Another weird claim is that you have a high optimization for your game meaning you can have "100's to 1000's of soldiers at a time" when it goes past a certain point FPS tanks and since the AI is synchronous to FPS, the AI basically completely break as well.

5.) Another key issue lies with the AI commander themselves, they literally don't do anything 99% of the time and if they do it's basically "scripted" in terms of the scenario editor giving the facade that the AI commander is actually doing something but was done because the original scenario editor basically told the AI to do that.

Overall I am disappointed in this game, and I hope the developer keeps going on to finish this game, but I have high doubts as he has abandoned his other works. Steer away from this until it's either out of early access or that he actually follows any sort of roadmap that he publishes.

To start off, this game is a full release with none of the things he went over. I had this game since the beginning and hoped that he would update it but he abandoned this game for his other projects that I doubt he will finish.
Lets start off going over the parts his road map that he said he would complete in a span of less than a year (this was posted in 2019 by the way):
(Next update plans):Should be out in a few days
1. Ragdolls - He added these
2. Improved explosions and impact effects - He never added any sort of update for these explosions and impact effects are non existent

3. Blood splatters and impact effects from AI weapons - Never added

Short term goals (4 months):
1. Redo all the weapon animations with the new rig - He had to do this, but it's the most mediocre animations possible

2. Add fort map - He did do this but it isn't that great

3. Campaign mode - Never added, added historical battles that play exactly the same as custom

4. New menus - Been the exact same since the beginning

5. 5 new weapons - Delivered new weapons

6. Historically accurate flags - May have done this? But doesn't really matter

7. Improved sound effects (gun sounds, bullets impact sounds, etc.) - Never completed any of this and it shows with bullet impact sounds being non-existent

8. AI improvements - This is a fake line of text that he added to make like he actually was putting effort into the AI, which is absolute bare minimum, and didn't deliver any sort of AI improvement

Possible short term goals (4 months):
1. New faction (France) - He last updated the game in 2021, still no faction

2. New unit (Sharpshooter) - Not delivered

3. Workshop Support - Also no

4. Revamped movement system - Still no

He last updated this game in 2021 with the false tense that he actually got out of early access but this game shows clear signs it should not have left, this game is not that good as he didn't bother completing it.
