For me, Impaler is the Vampire survivor of the FPS world.
It's fast, simple but complex. No run will ever be the same, but you've got control on the outcome.
It's fun and not complicated. It's incredibly cheap, less than a good pint of brew (too cheap, really).
The art direction is interesting, the weapons are fun but not overpowered.
I alter between this game and Doom 2 to unwind.
The dev is really involved with the community.
I don't do a lot of review, but this one has a special place in my heart (on on my hdd!).Please, instead of buying coffee today, buy this game! You'll have the adrenaline fix.

Well, I tried and honestly it's just too complicated. First of all, the websites they send you too are sometimes full of ads and not super clear on how you should use them, then many clues are way too random to be of any use. Sometimes you can brute force the answers, other times you have to use decryption software with hard to get encryption keys.
Welp, I tried. It's a great idea, but you have to have a lot of time on your hands to try and get through this game. Sadly, for me, it's a slog.

EDIT : Still... I'm bad a this game. And I'll be honest about it : it's not you, it's me. The lore didn't catch me, the puzzles did'nt catch me... but it should've. Kudos to the devs : it should be impossible to develop this kind of game (In the pdfs you receive, they "print" infos on where you're from, even out from the US). Maybe my negqative review is because I'M bad at this game and I would love to be good, but, still, I had a bad time. Developer's answer gave me hope I would be less bad (still, I'm bad, not the game or devs), but I guess it's just not for me.
Maybe a pen and paper RPG option would be cool? I know I'm up for it! You have the lore... make it shine!

Well, the developpers said they were gonna fix the game and then we get a 50$ CAD DLC.
They did not fix the game, and now they are charging for what should've been in the base game. Please.
I can't wait to try this on gamepass, but I will not pay a cent more for this trainwreck. Not even at 90% rebate.

I had the chance to play this a long time ago (I think I got the game in the bargain bin). Wasn't too keen on reading in english (which is not my first language), but some years later I played it I realised that this is a deep well made game.

I'm clearly bad at this game but I'm having so much fun, it shouldn't be legal. Street legal, anyway!

So hum ehhhhhhh when's the sequel coming out? Any plans on a french translation?

Game is an intercative movie (a very entertaining one) with branching storyline.
Saw about 1 fourth of the sortyline (i guess) now and seriously, this could be so much more!
Support the devs, they've got some pretty good ideas and talent!

This is THE game to play if you're not a fan of rogue like but would love to play rogue likes!

I have absolutely no regrets about buying this game. If early access games were all developped like Grim Dawn, we would be better served! It's a great and fun game based on the Titan's quest gameplay. The setting is awesome, graphics are nice, gameplay is fun, a little bit challenging but not too much and most of all it's not even finished yet.
