I purposefully ignore some messages. It's usually not personal, most of the time it is simply because I'm busy or sidetracked. Although there are some occasions where I'm rather annoyed by the messages. If that happens to be the case however, I will say so should it persist.

I avoid silently removing people. I will generally leave a message on the reasoning behind the removal, unless it's obvious, such as adding me and never once trying to talk to me.

Instances where I message someone first are rare due to a few reasons. Chances are, unless you message me first, we're not going to develop our friendship much, if at all. If for whatever reason you want to message me, don't hesitate to. I'm open to talk about almost anything.
