Is it better than its predecessors? Probably not. I'm just glad to have another Orcs Must Die game. 9 years have passed since Orcs Must Die 2 came out. For the majority of that time, I never expected another installment to come out. The people not recommending this game, because this somehow doesn't live up to to Orcs Must Die 1 & 2, have unrealistic expectations. Just be happy we can set up traps and kill orcs again, people.

It has some great ideas and combines game types that I enjoy. However, the execution is just not there. Switching between your hero, hero powers, ballista, and deploying soldiers is just clunky. Furthermore, you don't need to use all three to even win.

Funny point-and-click adventure that should take you anywhere from 5-10 hours to complete.

If you like the original game you will like this add-on. Well worth the money for about an hour's worth of fun and to support the developer.

Easy to get into but hard to master. The games are quick, and there is enough variation among the masters and cards to make sure you never get bored. The is not pay-to-win despite what some of the reviews say. You are adequately rewarded if you invest the time and play a few games every day (which is like a 10-15 minute investment). It gooood.

It's the third iteration of the Kingdom Rush series and just as good as before. Go get it if you like tower defense games, because these are the gold standard in the genre.
