To be enjoyed both ironically and unironically, 'Magical Diary' is truly the perfect gift for any occasion.

Featuring more animes per second, with only a fraction of the overreaching schmaltz found in second-rate indie competitors like 'To the Moon,' 'Magical Diary' pulls out all the stops and delivers a magical, one-of-a-kind experience that'll have you saying "I actually don't hate this...?" for years to come.

Is there a demonic wizard bishie waiting in your future? Only one way to find out...

'Magical Diary' gets one Steam Thumb way up from this reviewer.

It's PAC-MAN, but the dots are hits of ecstasy and the ghosts are like cops. The more hits you take the more cops there are, and the only way to get rid of the cops is to take a massive hit and then use the amazing high to eat them all in a giant conga line. Failing that, blow yourself up.

Oink oink oink oink! Oink oink oink!

I am Pig Man! I'm Pig Man!

I'll see you in two hours, after you've beaten the game.

Rarely have I encountered many games that I liked a lot already where I can say the sequel improved upon its predecessor in every single objective category. Runner 2 might be the best example I have currently.

BIT.TRIP, you magnificent bastards.

A masterpiece. The final nail in the coffin of the eternal argument on whether or not games are shart. 'To the Moon' proves once and for all, with a resounding 'YES,' that games ARE shart.

It's a game where you play as Space Chief dressed as a college professor who drives a soccer-mobile and shoots bees at people, primarily Sonic characters. In other words: buy this game immediately.

While the game lacks poor balance, unrewarding combat, cookie cutter dungeon design, and a lukewarm plot that's passionlessly spoonfed to you, it more than makes up for it by having actual good game design and art direction.
