It's a really fun lightgun arcade game with plenty of challenges modes to complete. For fans of House of the Dead and Time Crisis.

This game gets some unfair criticisms from people who just don't like the genre. Of course there's no movement and only simple reloading mechanics, that's how these games work. It's not Arizona Sunshine.

The graphics style is pretty ugly. And the humour and characters are bad, but I guess that's the fault of the film (I haven't seen it). I adore Emma Stone so it's a shame her model looks bad and they didn't get her voice.

I was going to off myself but then the devs removed that little VR gimmick and it saved my life.

In all seriousness, the devs deserve the mockery they're getting for that gutless, George Lucas move. But this is still the most fun I've ever had with a game. And it's good light cardio.

I'm also glad they toned down the bad storytelling from the first game and learned what subtlety is.

I don't like how the levels are designed so horizontal and mazelike. This is made worse by an unhelpful map. Wolfenstein was like that but that game is from 93. The enemy and weapon variety isn't very engaging either and the upgrade system doesn't add much. Doom 1 and 2 are my favourite games of all time but this one gets boring for me. You'll probably like it if you're really into Wolfenstein 3D.

Not really a game. But maybe I'm just old.
