Possibly best Half-Life 2 Mod To Date?

I went into Entropy: Zero 2 with relatively low expectations, as I've experienced numerous mediocre and low-quality HL2 mods over the years. Instead, I was blown away with a campaign that could easily rival the quality of the HL2: Episode series (not to mention potentially being longer too), and potentially (dare I say it?) a better community mod than Black Mesa, which was more or less the gold standard of fan-made HL2 mods until now.

If you can get over the moral dissonance of playing "the bad guy", then there's a good chance you'll fall in love with this series. I can only hope there's more to come, especially with the end stinger. (No spoilers!)

I also have to point out that this campaign, while mere unofficial fanon, does a wonderful job of expanding the storyline hinted at in Episode 2, but never officially expanded upon AFAIK. It's frustrating that Valve never finished the story themselves, but I'm willing to accept this as part of the ultimate lore because the quality was just that good.

If I had to single one thing out to complain about, it would probably the the voice acting for the Rebel NPC that made all the "defend Judith" announcements. The cadence and tone just
was a tad off the mark. Otherwise, damn good for an indie-made voice-over pack!

I really hope to see more from the dev team. It's rare that I say that HL2 mods are worth paying for, but this one absolutely is. If it ever goes paid, I will throw my full support behind it!
